the controller button sensitivity is extreme, it skips dialogues if you don’t tap the B button really fast

I keep trying to play this game but this keeps happening. I tried last year and I would only go to a certain level and then you couldn’t play. I didn’t even get that far this time.

Game Crashed When Loading The Save Files Please Fix It Right Away If Possible

The backbone controller doesn’t work very well with this. You have to press the buttons extremely fast and short or it’ll be a double press. So when you’re in battles it makes it really difficult to select commands without selecting the wrong thing.

Please, Fix this crashing problem

I love this game in general, but I’m giving 4 stars because it crashes every time I try to load it. This is after they pulled it and say they fixed the issue. This is frustrating and seems to be getting worse now that I’m on disk 2. I’d like them to try again. I beat FFI to FFVIII (as well as Tactics and some other stuff) on my phone without any similar issues (okay, I’m a FF fanboy, oh well). This one is buggy for some reason.

I have had this game for a couple of weeks and enjoyed going back to my childhood and playing final fantasy 9 again. However, within the last 24 hours when I have tried to open the game to play it, it crashes when I select continue. This has happened about four times now and I’m getting increasingly frustrated. Other than that, it is beautifully rendered and optimized for my phone which is an iPhone 13 Pro Max. I love the controls as they are really simple and easy to understand. Great game if

One of my favorite FF games. I've played through it so many times

sound disappears ☹️ within 5 min. Closing and restarting helps.. another 5 min. iPhone 10 mega ultra XX 😂

There's an issue when using backbone controller. It'll double select options in-game. Fix this.

Ff9 is my favorite but when played with a controller on iOS it double clicks buttons. At first I thought it was the controller but 9 is the only game that does this and it does this on steam as well from what I have read.

Still early in the game, but so far the experience has been great. The game ported really well and handles the iPad screen well. Took a little getting used to the controlls, but it mostly feels natural.

They finally updated it! Now it works. Love it

Simply put it is a joy to be able to play Final Fantasy IX again. Job well done!

They finally fixed the app, runs great.

The game is now functional again! One of the best FF games out there. I can’t wait to start this up again!

Update: they fixed it: I love square Enix and how great to see them releasing the pixel remastered but it sorta frustrating I can’t play my all time favorite game on the go anymore

Final fantasy 9 will not run on iOS/iPadOS until Square Enix updates the app tracking information with Apple. There is no way around this limitation currently. Otherwise it’s a fantastic game, and runs well on iPhone and iPad.

Great game, a classic but needs to be kept up with for those who have purchased it and continue to play it.

Loved this game!!! But with new iOS versions it’s unplayable, plz fix this.
