Great idea. A little frustrating that I had to be below 180kts and about 7,000' to get valid indications. Once up it was within 150' and 2 kts of the actual aircraft speed and altitude. In cruise it was precessing badly, almost unusable. That was at FL410 and an indicated .83 Mach. A landscape mode would be very desirable.

I knew when the iPhone 4 with gyros was announced it was only a matter of time before someone created an attitude indicator utilizing this functionality. There have been a few apps before like this but they do not use the gyros and only use GPS data. This app is amazing. I tested it out while flying; put it through all kinds of coordinated and uncoordinated turns, climbs, dives, slips and skids and the indicator behaved exactly like the real one in the cockpit. As a minimum, the speed and altitude display numbers need to be larger. Probably the heading could be larger, too. Recommend having an option under settings to select. Otherwise, a cool apt.

I wish I had checked other's reviews before buying. It does not work for flight. Too much vibration for the gyro I guess. I had my iphone Velcroed to the panel. Works while driving a car, but who need pitch/bank angle for driving? The free versions will do that.
