Almost there

Great idea. A little frustrating that I had to be below 180kts and about 7,000' to get valid indications. Once up it was within 150' and 2 kts of the actual aircraft speed and altitude. In cruise it was precessing badly, almost unusable. That was at FL410 and an indicated .83 Mach. A landscape mode would be very desirable.

At last!

I knew when the iPhone 4 with gyros was announced it was only a matter of time before someone created an attitude indicator utilizing this functionality. There have been a few apps before like this but they do not use the gyros and only use GPS data. This app is amazing. I tested it out while flying; put it through all kinds of coordinated and uncoordinated turns, climbs, dives, slips and skids and the indicator behaved exactly like the real one in the cockpit. Need LARGER Displays

As a minimum, the speed and altitude display numbers need to be larger. Probably the heading could be larger, too. Recommend having an option under settings to select. Otherwise, a cool apt.

Does not work for flight

I wish I had checked other's reviews before buying. It does not work for flight. Too much vibration for the gyro I guess. I had my iphone Velcroed to the panel. Works while driving a car, but who need pitch/bank angle for driving? The free versions will do that.
