Flyleaf: Read Later App Reviews

Works really well, and the page-turning animation is smoother than any other app I’ve tried. I’ve also been pleasantly surprised by how well it handles oddly-formatted web pages. I had one archived page that crashed another app, but Flyleaf handled it just fine.

This is exactly what I was looking for in a “read later” app: focused, reliable, with enough customization to make reading on my phone a nice experience. So happy I found it - thank you to the developer for such a thoughtful & useful app!

Really impressed with the quality and polish of this app. With the pending shutdown of Pocket, this looks like a perfect replacement I plan to use going forward.

Far superior to Instapaper or Readwise

When I discovered this app, I was excited to try it, as a replacement for the discontinued Pocket app. I was very pleased when I started using it. It gets rid of all the clutter and ads from the original article, and presents only the article that I want to read. Swipe to turn pages. If you don’t finish reading the article, it keeps track of where you left off! It’s at least as good as the Pocket app, but this one does more. This is an excellent adherence to Pocket. It works seemlessly across iOS, MacOS, and iPadOS. It is well worth the small cost and each update makes it better.

If you prefer reading articles like a book, rather than scrolling Flyleaf is a great (the best, probably) option out there.

Great replacement for Pocket!

This app took me a little time to figure out some of its features, but WOW! This is a wonderful replacement of Instapaper for me. Great work from the developers.

This app works just as it should. It saves my articles and is very easy to read
