FORScan Lite - for Ford, Mazda App Reviews

When I first used the app it was working fine. Now after a couple of months I use the app the app doesn’t connect to my Bluetooth VLinker FS scan tool. I updated my scan tool firmware and I can’t connect to FordScan Lite.

There is a competitor that allows this on iOS. Update the app so we can make programming changes. I get not changing codes, but you could add the ones with known codes so we can make changes easier on the go.

This is a great scanning software with a lot of features. I only wish the app was able to do what the windows software could do, especially for the iPad app.

It’s a lite app, 100%, but for quick scan or simple reset, combined with a Bluetooth OBD it’s easy and portable and doesn’t require my laptop

Transmission learning table reset, learning pause, resume, and module reset worked great on Navigator with OBDLink MX+ OBD2 Bluetooth. Connectivity was easy but if you encounter any issues you should kill the app using the swipe from bottom iPhone app feature.

Gives me real time data when connected to ODBink MX+. Amazing tool, 10/10 value

Not much more to say other than it works great for diagnosing. Pretty crazy to think that I used to have to go to my buddies repair shop and use their crazy expensive snap-on reader to do exactly what this app can do.

I used this in combination with vLinker MC+ obd2 adapter to fix a rough idle issue in my mustang GT. I did the “reset all adaptations” procedure

This app works great on android, and even on my computer. I purchased the iOS app to see the info on the go, but it won’t read any of the cheaper adapters. I was told it was because Apple didn’t recognize them, however, I have multiple apps that read my elm327, but alas, forscan for iPhone doesn’t read it. Someday when I have an extra $100 around, I may buy their adapter so that I can use the app on my phone.
