Foundations Memory Work C1 App Reviews

This review is just for the app functionality and not for the content. It would be so helpful to update the app so that you can skip the talking intros and go straight to the songs. Especially in history. Some of the sentences are so long and my kiddos want to be able to sing along several times in a row to learn the song. As it is you have to sit through the entire spoken part. A scrubbing button or a skip function would be amazing!

It really needs the Timeline song and the President’s song. My Challenge student said they changed the timeline tune. My younger kids can’t remember so they’re no help. Guess we’re just singing the old tune until it’s added to the app. I also did not appreciate being forced to buy the app again after changing from android to iPhone. I already paid for the material. Why pay again? Especially for such a pricey app. I’m willing to upgrade my rating if they add the songs

Disappointed with what did not come with the app. For the hefty price of the app, you would think it would include everything but unfortunately it hardly includes any of the songs, the timeline section doesn’t even includes words (just pictures), and no Presidents.

Would be 5 stars if we had the full timeline and presidents song. The spoken word is boring and we generally skip them. Would love that updated!

You should be able to skip the narration before the history songs, or even not have them at all. It’s annoying waiting for a boring narration before singing the song.

Have been using CC for past 3yrs. Excellent homeschooling program. This app gives basic structure of the whole Cycle 1 curriculum. Children love it. Thanks for the update!

The CC App is one of 3 essential tools I utilize for CC. 1) Community Day, 2) CC App, & 3) A Flipbook. It makes accessing & learning the material convenient. 5 stars helpful.

Please add a “play all” option for the subjects. It would be 5 stars if I, as a tutor, and teacher, could use this to review material hands free.

How do I access the history and science snippets as shown in the description photos?

After realizing I could buy all the songs needed on ITunes I don’t have any use for this app. If the app was just recently bought, and never used, is it possible to get a refund?

App is very useful for our daily memory work, but I have to keep my finger hovering over the screen to keep it from going to sleep every few minutes, even in the middle of a song. Royal pain. PLEASE FIX THIS!!!

The timeline song is the only way to remember the entire timeline easily. Please add it to this rather expensive app. Please consider songs for the other subjects as well. We remember history the best because of the songs.

This app is helpful in many ways but lacking the timeline song of all things. Overpriced for lacking key study materials. I wish tests were available for Memory Masters. Needs more.

I love it for on the go review, it’s also helpful for tutor prep and community day. My kids can easily use the app when I need them to do their review and I can’t sit with them. Very convenient!

We accidentally purchased the wrong cycle. Are refunds available?

This app is not right so it should not be like this instead it needs to be the way that it is on my other older iPad Mini that I just got on July 1, 2015.

I just purchased this app. It’s good so far. I don’t like that I’m unable to skip through the narration/songs. I have to listen to it from the beginning. My kids want to listen to the song sometimes not the narration in the beginning.

This is our fourth year in CC and we love it. However, this app is a total disappointment. For $15.99, I was expecting something interactive that actually quizzes the kids on the memory work in fun ways such as games, fill in the blanks, etc. Instead, it just reads out the information and puts it on the screen. Seriously??!! Completely boring and not at all engaging or helpful. My children can read it themselves on a flip book or in the Foundations book without me having to spend additiona

This is a cleanly designed, but very simple app. All three cycles together isn’t worth $16, let alone for just one cycle! If you want this app to earn such a price tag, it needs to do more than rudimentary menus and audio. And the spoken audio should be separated from the songs so that you can listen to the songs without having to listen to the spoken each time.

One of my favorite aspects of the CC memory work is the timeline song, which is NOT included?! What a disappointment. I sure hope that they listen to all of this feedback and decide to update.
