I don’t like the ads popping up all the time before I can see the story
Why change what worked?
I used to really like the Fox Carolina News app until all the changes were made. Everything is smaller, harder to find and read. But the biggest disappointment is the fact that the only way for this app to be read on an iPad is in portrait mode. I always have the iPad in landscape mode with an attached keyboard so turning it sideways (especially with the keyboard) is highly frustrating. I prefer your take on the news to other stations but their apps are easier to navigate. Is it possible to mak

Current version needs work
This app was once flawless, but alas… they aren’t keeping up. It won’t load the live broadcast easily. Also, it doesn’t seem to have a channel on the Alexa “Stream Player”, though WYFF does at channel 171.
March 2023: So the app has gone through a major upgrade but now won’t work my older ipad. I’m not sure why as the commercials still play fine.
Forced advertising
Trying to to access headline news from the pop up directs you to a advertisement, after that no way to view the story……..
Looks like the story is the advertisement!

There are so many advertisements on your page I can’t even find the news articles. I am going to look for an alternative for my local news.

Bugs and glitches! Wish it would stay on…
I’d totally love this app if it would work properly with AirPlay so I could see it on my tv screen. I do not have regular tv so I rely on this app for my local news and it glitches and won’t stay connected with AirPlay. It will play for a minute or 2 and then cuts off. Then I have to back out of the app and reload the whole app to get it to play another 2 minutes if the news. As long as my phone screen does not go to sleep it will play but it runs the battery down fast to have to go into my sett
It often opens to loud videos and ads with no way to close
I loved this app when I first got it, but now I’m pretty close to deleting it. I have opened stories, only to have loud news videos come on immediately, and one of the ads that came on had no way to ‘x’ out of it , getting sick of this app
