FOX LOCAL: Live News & Weather App Reviews

Way better than previous app(s) from my local Fox affiliate. Video player works pretty well and consistently. Sometimes it will start playing the stream randomly if the app is in the background and FoxLocal’s playback was paused due to preemption by another media app. Please add a native weather map view instead of the web view. I use the map a lot since it has satellite unlike the default weather app. Clunky to use in the tiny web view tho. See the maps in default weather app or HelloWeather fo

It would be useful (and normal) to allow users to select and copy text from articles.

Before the latest update you could pause and rewind the Live feed which was helpful if you missed part of the weather and traffic you could skip back to what was missed but now you cannot. Otherwise it’s still nice to be able to catch the news while I’m getting ready for work.

I don’t like the notifications that pop up. When I open it, it closes in about three seconds. And it is not in the app. What good are all the notifications when I cannot read them???

I moved to South Carolina and it’s not on tv down here. Miss seeing all my good day morning people especially Mike and Rosanna so I’m happy I can see them on my Fox app. 🩷I watched for years and it’s nice to have a piece of home

I like getting KTTV on my phone, plus live news from some other cities I care about. Easy to use.

Love that I can now get FOX Local on my phone! It makes it even easier to watch anywhere.

User experience is smooth, easy to use, and live video playback is fast and super responsive!

I receive push notifications and use them to open the article related to the notification and it only loads adds no article, update needed to repair the issue

Since I live outside of New York City, I depend on this for local news of my hometown. For the last two days the app has crashed. Can’t see anything no local news. From good Day in New York. The app gives an error message and that’s it. You would’ve thought after two whole days they would’ve figured out something was wrong.. Please build a better app.
