This is a solid at-home-HIIT workout. The AI will generate a good program to follow. However, it fell short for me with little to no customer service only one type of workout meaning only HIIT and for what you get, it’s extremely expensive
This app has been tremendously helpful for me! My only gripe is that recently when it exports data into the Apple health app, it no longer provides info for how many calories you burn in a workout
I would give 5 starts but there is a bug with the metric system. Is not working.
I’ve been with Freeletics since day one I still have the emails in German. I was promised to get lifetime and for some reason still get charged every year. App is not as good as original workouts. But the mobility is great
I’ve used for over 8 years. Great app.
I like this app because it provides a variety of workouts and does the programming for me. I never go into a workout without a plan now that I have Freeletics. Only 4 stars because after doing Crossfit for years, I hoped for some more interval weighted training, and this app tends to lean towards mainly body weight workouts. Which is great but I want to go heavy with barbell sometimes. Overall I love it though.
Without a doubt, this is the best fitness app that I keep returning to. This app is great for calisthenics simple premade workouts that are adjustable whenever you want to change something. There are options for choosing which equipment you have available so that the workouts are tailored free to you. Try it for a few months or a year and then I recommend getting the lifetime membership because it’s totally worth it even if it cost a pretty penny to start with.
Great workouts that are both challenging and interesting. I wish they would put in a timer reset button.
Pros: This app provides an efficient and effective way to get a workout. The exercises are always enough to push me just a little further than I’m comfortable with, but without any assistance injury. Cons: the flow (UX) of the app can be clunky. Lots more clicking between exercises than is needful. I wish I could turn off the countdown timer or change it to beeps. It makes listening to audiobooks or music tricky especially during cooldown when the timer is going off ever 30 seconds.
I have been using this app for just o er 6 months and I don’t remember the last time I felt this good! I like how the program meets you at your physical level and then changes based on your feedback. I strained my knee at one point and I like that I was able to exclude exercises that put pressure on my legs. I was able to continue exercising while my knee healed. I sleep better and my body is getting stronger. This app has been the best decision for improving my overall health.
The app is awesome, I love the workouts. But I do wish we could modify for a handicap. I have a more limited use of my legs due to an accident, and while I’m building it back to normal (hopefully), I wish I could swap and modify certain exercises in the AI coaching. Right now I just have to skip some, but I hate skipping things! I’d rather replace with something I can do. Other than that, I love it all!
I have been using this app literally since it’s creation and it’s been essential to my health and fitness journey. Please add functionality to be able to go on running workout sessions without having to take your phone with you and only use an Apple Watch. Adding this feature would truly mean freedom for those that like to run with little to no extra items to carry.
I’ve been using Freeletics for years now and it is an amazing app. Sometimes I try to workout without it and I hate it. It provides a lot of variety so it doesn’t ever get boring and the workouts are challenging, plus it seems like they are good about updating it making the app better over time. Looking forward to what’s next!
on other app helped with my progress like Freeletics did. Never switching ever again.
The workouts are good. In an attempt to report a bug that prevented me from marking my workouts complete, I was directed to a chat that directed me to a webpage that simply told me to delete the app and try again. I couldn’t deliver the actual problem. As someone who works in product design and development, this doesn’t lead to successful resolutions.
I travel a lot for work and I’ve tried a lot of different apps and programs to try to find a bodyweight exercise plan that challenges me. I’ve been lifting 5 to 6 days a week for 5+ years and run three days a week so most of them just were not challenging. This app, especially after it gets to know you, about week two, kills it
I wish they had rowing back from their old gym app, add dip station workouts, and you could have a main journey and a side journey. I don’t want to have to get a second account or another app if I want to lift then end my days with runs.
It says “update to complete exercise” and it’s updated to the current version, restarted, same thing
I bought it, but will not let me see the workouts. 30 percent subscription add keeps popping up and will not let me select the workout. Would love to at least try the workout.
Within a week the app adjusted to my fitness level to assign me workouts that are not too easy and not too hard. I see quick results.
The iPhone app is good, but it can’t track BPM or share accurate information with Health. Another plus would be the chance to mark how many pounds are you using in order to keep track of weight progres too. Don’t relax guys, there are many great fitness apps coming up every day!
This app has revolutionised my fitness. The ability to choose what equipment I have and to exercise when I want is brilliant. The exercises are varied and fun. I am in the best shape of my life after years of gym thanks to this
The app is great the only bug I would to see fixed is when using Apple Watch…the FINISH button on the watch doesn’t work when tapping. The NEXT button works but not finish. Amazing app tho!
I love this app. I travel a lot and don’t necessarily have a full gym available. This app allows me to adjust my workout to whatever equipment the hotel has, or simply do a body weight only day. I like how it keeps track of my progress, although it’s missing a way to quickly find a previous workout to compare.
So far I'm enjoying the trainings and the app in general, but lately when finishing a routine, even when selecting "Excellent" is saying that I didn't do it as it was suggested and not giving the star to update my PB.
I have been using this app for a year and a half and I love it. It has great workouts and exercises and an amazing supportive community of athletes. And the price is just right.
I am 60 years old and now I look so much better than 10 years ago. I have been working out for 2 years. Freeletics is my best friend.
Solid strength and conditioning training.
4 Negative User Reviews for Freeletics: Workouts & Fitness
The onboarding is quicker than other fitness apps, however when trying to start a "fitness journey" as part of the onboarding it makes you select equipment and then input specifics of the equipment. This screen is broken and upon inputting anything it takes you back to the very beginning of "select fitness journey" and you have to do all that again just to get kicked back to the beginning. Had promise, but the app just doesn't work, unfortunately.
Not what I expected. The routines are not as structured and personalized. I regret my purchase.
The workouts never really adjust, and it will just throw the same exercise at you after you said it was too hard
I love this app and it served me well over the last few years. However, I decided to cancel my subscription and did so inside the app months ago. There were no reminders of upcoming subscription renewals, no warnings that credit cards would be charged. When my subscription was renewed, I wrote to Freeletics immediately stating this is a mistake, but their customer service told me 1. No refunds and 2. They would not reply to any more enquiries from me on this topic. terrible and unhelpful custome
