This app is helpful but it has some annoying glitches

Having the schematic of the mouth placement for each sound, accompanied by the reader speaking a list of several words with that sound in it is genius.

The pronunciation on this is not quite accurate. The letter ‘r’ in IPA is wrongly written as [r], but he French ‘r’ is not pronounced as [r] nor as in Spanish nor as [ɹ] as in English, it should be [ʁ], which is a little like a throat gargle. Keep that in mind. Sometimes the [ɑ] is wrongly pronounced [a] in the words. There are other issues. I recommend getting the Interactive IPA app to sort these thing out. This looks like the only app of its kind so I’ll give it five stars for that. It would be more helpful if we could only hear the sound without getting the full list of words and having to go back to the other screen to be able to hear another sound.

Great program for French Phonetics

It seems to be a cool app, but it is not working on mi iPhone XS. When I tap the arrow on the left upper corner to go back, it doesn’t work.

The app hounds you too much to rate it

There is a major issue with IPhone X. Once you click on a letter you can’t get back to the list because the back button is behind the iOS clock. You have to completely close the app and reopen it to go to a different letter.
