Smart A.I

Great version! The A.I plays smart unlike all the other versions where the A.I commits suicide half the time.

Very good French Tarot (with ads)

Excellent, smooth interface. I only played against the computer, but network play is also supported. Ads appear between deals, so they don't disturb the play.

Good, but more help for beginners needed

Really enjoy the chance to try out France's 2nd most popular card game, but I was a little confused about the rules early on. Once I got the hang of it, I appreciated the clean interface and relatively unobtrusive nature of the ads.

Major minor arcana

There are seventy eight cards in a normal tArot card deck. Some versions are works of art. The twenty two major ar arcana are used for fortune telling. The fifty six minor arcana are used in card games. There are four suits cups swords plates sticks. Extra card called knave page.

Best A.I. Players

Four stars cos the computer plays very well although it makes a few rookie mistakes that I wish they would fix by now. The whole app is well thought except for the UI of the board game I feel it’s confusing and crowded on the side. Lots of empty space in the middle and the elements are too far from each other (e. g. Name; D; G) I’m never able to play online though, I never get matched with any players. Is this a bug or there is just no one online? I would buy the full version if I was sure to f

Wrong

All cards in a tarot deck can be used for fortune telling. Which became a popular way of telling fortunes BECAUSE everyone at the time basically played cards. The Italians have a similar version using tarot cards. which is BECAUSE that’s what the most popular game of the day was called. Now, this is an excellent version that I’ve been playing for a while now. Aside from feeling stupid sometimes, 😉, it is so much fun. I’ve played others but they aren’t as pretty, or clean running. Play is smooth,

Good except for multiplayer mode

This game app is very well designed for single players, but I found two areas for the multiplayer mode a bit disappointing: 1. Cannot play with friends unless connected to the same WiFi. Would love to be able to invite friends physically far away and play together! 2. The card distributions are quite unfair, as most of the time (>75%) the AI players get hands good enough to slaughter the rest. I don’t know if this gets improved in the paid version, but based on feature descriptions the two see

Awesome

If you love the French Tarot card game you will love this.

Very well designed

I love the design, this app is very well put together. Is it possible to add sounds? I would love to hear the swish swish of the cards being delt. I can donate $$$

Traditional Trick-Taking Games

Long before the emergence of their use in divination, the Tarot deck was used to play trick-taking games of many, many varieties. This app presents French Tarot in 3, 4, and 5 player variants. It’s really fun and useful. Each variant while having nearly identical rules has its own idiosyncrasies that you just need to play through in order to learn. 5 stars easily. The ads are a bit annoying, but there’s a paid version that’s ad-free if they bother you that much.

Just a friendly suggestion for a great app

I love this app. French Tarot is a wonderful game. I have a friendly suggestion for improvement. I would love to see the ability to analyze & play custom hands. I think it would be wonderful to set up custom deals, either for duplicate play or for analysis. The play in French tarot is actually quite tactically complex & interesting. As a bridge player I’d love to analyze my play in tarot the same way I can in bridge

Fun and informative

Most people don’t even know about this game which is a shame because it’s super interesting. Beats playing just regular spades. I play to pass the time while waiting. Easy to put down and pick back up as convenient.

Awesome

Great app. Love the replay hand feature.

Can’t access the game because of Ads

I used to enjoy this game but now you get one hand and then it shoots you over to an ad for another App. I get that’s how they make money but then you are frozen on that marketing app and can’t get back into the game what’s the point. I’ve now lost interest. I would recommend this game but with the caveat that you won’t get to play very much.
