Paired with iPad or phone is so great. Very convenient with larger screen. Been using to pull weather forecasts out in the wild. No emergency usage so far

InReach hardware works great. The software application is difficult to configure and use

You can talk to anybody you want you just gotta connect them by your text

Super clunky doesn’t work great with IOS.

Feels good knowing I have contact when I’m deep out there. Tried the cellular services SOS and satellite and they are good but not consistent like the Garmin. Glad to have it as a partner on all my adventures.

I absolutely love the inReach services and the evolution and improvements in this app.

Is it melodramatic to say that this is the best app I’ve ever used to date

So press the back button, your gonna skip activation, you will go back to where your on a Home Screen. There’s an icon in the corner you will just press okay. Go down to settings. Press the phone Bluetooth button. Then press okay and okay again. Then pair your phones.

I have scoured the app and the inReach messenger device and the words “pair device” do not exist. This should be a priority and I’ve wasted 30 minutes trying to pair this thing. Activating an account should be easy too but those words are only on the device, not on the app…

I’m still figuring it out. So far, everything seems to be working well. When I updated my Check in messages, it tells me to make sure to sync. Not sure what that means!

Lag in message delivery, UI response, and now it won’t stop crashing after I open it. Not sure how this app has such high ratings with how consistently poor my experience has been for a year now.

Can’t process activation yet. Has frozen multiple times.
