I was looking for an alternative to traditional new media. I hit jackpot and my big mouth has been telling everyone I know about Good News!

There are so many horrible things going on in the world and it affects my mental health a great deal. I recently decided to delete my regular news app and use this app instead. It is comforting to know there are still good things happening and good people.

Perfect way to reduce news drudgery. Good news app focuses on positive change and stories that are generally uplifting. This is what we all need more of. The world is a beautiful place and we must all focus on positivity and do our part however small it is.

In a sea of hateful and depressing news feeds, it’s refreshing to remember good things happen in this world, too. This App gives balance and restores faith in humanity—objectively and honestly.

I love this app. I didn’t realize it would curated news (like Apple News) and I would access to articles from so many sources. When I realized when I clicked on “more” I would be taken to the full article —I was in heaven. Even though I tend to read these sources (Reuters, BBC…) these are the types of articles I would never find as they are so buried beneath doomscroll clickbait. Great app!

When I click on article for more info for Good News, it asks me to download app but I already have it. Doesnt take me to more info on that article. This doesnt happen when source is something else like The Guardian

I love the exposure this app offers. Exposure to great things people are doing ecologically and socially! It’s hard when you’re wrapped up in your work lives to know where to look for new POSITIVE news, but problem solved with GoodNews

This app does a good job of helping the reader become aware of many interesting and uplifting discoveries and people. They cover a broad range of topics so that everyone would find something of interest in reading stories on this app.

I laughed when my uncle told me about the Good News app he downloaded on his daughters phone (only had 300 reviews, compared to your average app having tens of thousands), so we all sat and downloaded it. And I will say, it’s one of the only notifications I consistently open. Constantly seeing negative headlines discourages from opening news apps in the first place. Thanks for this small channel, I think it’s great for kids interested in world news with a lighter tone, and I’ve also been enjoyin

The world has problems but there are good things to talk about as well. This app helps provide needed balance.

Appears to be positive news stories, culled from reputable news sources. Nicely laid out, easy on the eyes, not screaming at the reader, a pleasure to read. No pop up ads, notifying me that after opening so many number of news stories, I will then be required to purchase a premium service, which is nice. Thank you for making this possible!

I for one greatly appreciate this app. I read so much negative news on the Internet, some of which you cannot always believe; articles fueled by competition and financial gain that are later revealed as fabricated, misleading, or misinformed. How refreshing to find a News source that is all good! Not many articles, but enough for me to counterbalance all that negativity! Thank you!

The pop up ads on many of the linked stories are overwhelmingly annoying making them unreadable.

Just starting using it and I love it. Informs me and lifts my spirits. There is good in the world.

Over the recent years this news network has become very political. Most of the news stories are from the left-wing Democratic agenda. I used to love this app, what a shame it turned political.
