It would be great to have half stars… that’s all, thank you!
Good all around app but it definitely needs an update. Good at the basic needs like keeping track of books and dates and reviews.
I log absolutely everything I read on this. My whole book life revolves around this app. Everything is on it. I absolutely love it. If you read, DOWNLOAD IT!
Goodreads is a wonderful way for me to keep track of books I have read. I like that I can keep my progress updated easily and it helps me remember what I have read. I also love keep a record of books I want to read
There’s a strong possibility for improved recommendations and improved reader stats
Love this app for remembering what I have read, what I want to read, recording my thoughts on books and authors, and providing me with quick reviews: available via scanning a book cover, so I can quickly assess whether or not to grab a book off the library shelf. Not good for making connections with other readers who like what you like (and getting more individualized recommendations).
Wish I could give half ratings for stars. Design and ease of use could use slightly more work but over-all fun app to have
I love this app! I just wish when pulling up a book, it listened the genre somewhere (or easier to find if I'm missing it?)
I have been using this app for years but dates on books don’t update. Sometimes I get a notification but when I check there is nothing. Very glitchy but a great way to keep track of books/reading.
This is one of my favorite apps. I am an avid reader, and I enjoy documenting what I read and learning about what others are reading. Gives me great ideas for next books for myself. One of my most used apps.
I really hate the website since they changed it. This is a lot easier to navigate. Please do not change it!
I love Goodreads, but the app crashes a lot, especially when scrolling through lists. It’s a little frustrating.
Really like this app but when looking for book suggestions I get unable to connect errors after clicking more than 4 genres. It’s super annoying
I mostly use this app for seeing book ratings and reviews and of course keeping track of my books read. There are lots of bugs, but most of it has to do with the social media aspect side of it - home page, following, friends, updates, etc. As Jack Edwards said, “I’ve had a Tamagotchi with a better user interface than GoodReads.”
Please give a age rating with every book
A mystery entangled with small town relationships. Falk gets involved with two puzzles: the disappearance of a young woman on a trail near an Australian reservoir. Did she fall and drown? An accountants death due to hit and run in the same spot. Understanding the people is more important than solving the riddle or perhaps the riddle is the relationships. It it’s a wine producing area and the story begins with Wine fair.
Everyone can see a little bit of Maagy in the girl they once were, while perfectly geared towards youth audiences I loved every second of her impetuous journey and transformation.
I discovered Goodreads in high school and I’m still using it in college. It’s great for finding new books, and keeping track of what you’ve already read.
I have shared this app so many times to my reading friends. It is fantastic in inspiring me to read and stick to my goals. I love that the app shows me more books I would possibly be interested in reading based off what I have read.
Goodreads has my heart.
This app is great if you just want to track how many books you have read in total. But the feature were you make a goal for the year and than track how many books you have read does not work for me. It glitches and does not add my books so far I have read one book this year and it still says 0 out of 150.
Goodreads is to go-to app for any book lover!
This app is incredible it has everything you could need and more. It helps you keep track of your reading. Books you want to read. You can follow your favorite book your tubers account and see what they are into. Or you and your significant other can follow each others accounts and when you want to get them a special gift you can you at there want to read list. Win ! Win!
Heyyy, I'd love it if Goodreads fixed the pop-up for reviews where even a whisper near your device closes the pop-up and loses your draft. Group functionality on the app is awful too. We can't even vote in-club? But the app allows us to vote in the Goodreads yearly awards. Coolcoolcool 🙄
Goodreads had many uses: keeping track of what I read; rating books and leaving reviews others can read; finding other books by the same author or finding a similar book by a different author; reading reviews to help me choose my next read; reading book synopsis to assist in choosing my next book. It also provides access to other genres so I can add variety to my reading choices.
Pleaseeeee give half stars i need them
Overall, I really love this app - it’s just missing a few little things. The user friendly way to find and add books to your list, the missing ability to access and use groups in the app - I have to have a browser window open on my phone to use this. I hope they do some improvements with this - perhaps like audible and kindle, having connections to Libby and Hoopla.
Goodreads is okay for what it does. It’s a very comprehensive database but the user interface is a bit limited. No option to filter out books on your reading list, for people with larger lists the app tends to crash quite a bit or have errors when you try to find something on your list, the search doesn’t account for misspellings.
I did not like the prequel, The Family Upstairs, but I was intrigued by the the idea of what happened to the children. Lisa Jewel did an amazing job providing details of their lives during the next 20+ years how the dysfunction of their childhood had a lasting impact… and how it continued.
I absolutely love this app! It has helped me get back into my love of reading and also allowed me to make some new friends along the way 🫶🏽
I normally log in via Facebook and for a while now I have been logged out and unable to get in. I was able to enter on the internet so I know it’s an issue with the app!
i really love goodreads!! it's so nice to be able to keep track of your books and to join groups to connect with people!! i love how i can ask for book recs in my different groups or set goals for myself. i highly recommend for anyone who reads a lot or is trying to read a lot!!!
But Goodreads really needs to make half star reviews an option
Thankful this app can help me track the books I’ve read, books I want to read & see other suggestions for future reads.
This brings me down memory lane surfacing stories that often were read many years before
For an app that is owned by Amazon, this does not have the same usefulness and ease of use or accessibility as other Amazon products and services. In addition to the three basic shelves, there should be a DNF shelf. Additionally the user interface is not very appealing or easy to understand.
Good Book, insightful and well written
love this app so much but it could seriously use some updates. it’s glitchy sometimes😵💫
Strange that you can’t search quotes on the app but if you select them on safari or google it opens them in the app. You should add a quote search on the app directly… then it five star city for me😉
I love this app because it keeps all of my books in track. I love how it calculate how far I am in the books and it’s a awesome.
Would have rated the app 5 stars but I really Eish we could give books half stars.....
Best app ever for book lovers!! It is such a helpful app to keep track of all you’re read books!! Definitely a must get for any book lovers :)
I love this app so much. Honestly my only complaint is I can only give whole star ratings. I would like 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 rating options. It would make them more accurate
It’ll be great if you add a search option where I can look up books with hashtags. Like #French # Fiction and the results aren’t just titles with the same words but books of this category.
This is a must read for all business people and entrepreneurs whose goal is to make big impact on people and develop successful leadership.
