Gorillas: Grocery Delivery App Reviews

Things are often out of stock even when they are available on the app. And the app often glitches/fails when processing the payment so you order cant be submitted. It’s extremely frustration. One day it will work perfectly and the next it’s so buggy.

This app doesn’t exist anymore. It was great! Getir bought the company and now they are closing locations in the US, UK, and Europe.

They really are “faster than you” as their slogan goes. I cannot STAND going to the grocery store in Munich and waiting for people to pay with cash and navigating the tiny aisles with my giant stroller. I think I’ve ordered on Gorillas 30+ times now and I love that I get discount codes too. And they have everything! Seriously the best app.

The service itself is fast, which is nice. The food selection is limited, the prices on this goods def have a convenience fee tacked on, and the app is made like amateur hour. Clunky, glitchy, not very user friendly. My order was missing food, but the automated customer service bot is straight up broken and I never got my refund. I’d rather just plan out my groceries run in advance than use this anymore.

Really great service, decent app, some good Gorillas brand items too. Only gripe is: “Faster than you” is a pretty poor choice of tagline, kind of insulting your customers there but hey that’s Europe for you! The service is still great. Remember to tip generously!

It’s almost inexplicable how fast they are. My orders usually arrive TEN MINUTES after I tap order. Never has it taken more than 20. And, my orders are correct 100% of the time. It’s truly a GAME CHANGER!

I’ve ordered gorillas 15 times. Each time, my wife is shocked when they actually come in 10-15 minutes. They’re awesome.

It often only takes 10 minutes from when I place the order to when the doorbell rings. It has never taken more than 20, even when it’s a really big order. They never make mistakes on the order content, and the delivery people are friendly and efficient. Great business overall — I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Sometimes okay, other times no show or super late. Not very reliable, no matter how well you tip. Clearly they are not ready for NYC

Overall I really like this app, the selection is usually pretty good and delivery is fast. But they take advantage of the fact that you have notifications on and push annoying ads to you everyday.

My mind is absolutely BLOWN by this app and delivery service. I thought it was a typo that my food was 10 minutes away. I’m not using any other grocery delivery service again other than Gorillas

I love Gorillas because I can choose top quality ingredients and have it to my door in minutes! Yesterday it saved me an hour of my time and I was able to get stuff like organic chicken, milk, snacks and plastic wrap. Very happy it’s in my neighborhood.

They deliver SO fast, it’s amazing and their team is so sweet.

In New York City, the delivery of the Gorilla app is very fast. I arrived at 10 minutes after the weather. And a cute handwright letter also arrived together. It's a good letter.

I ordered several items. I spent $23.12. Had I went to the supermarket, I would have spent more money because I would have bought more items. For my first experience using this app, I’m satisfied.

I honestly was skeptical but they delivered within 10 minutes and the delivery person was SO nice.

First off, I never write reviews but this service is amazing. Everything was confirmed, packed AND delivered in 15 minutes. And the delivery guy was really nice unlike most delivery services. Definitely will use again and recommend to my friends!

Ordered my groceries and they came in 6 minutes… prices are the same if not better than my grocery store… absolutely insane.

I was amazed at the quality of the produce and the speed of the delivery. And then the delivery person was super polite and friendly! I don’t normally review apps but this one really delivers as promised and above expectations!

The service is fine, deliveries arrive fairly quickly. I’ve been ordering from Gorilla’s for about 2 years. The issue is the app, now when I log in it says they don’t deliver in my area yet ( I live in Manhattan haven’t moved and have ordered many times). I’ve spoke with support about the issue, they issued $10 in credit and were nice, but credit isn’t helpful when I can place an order. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app multiple times. I just reinstalled again and still says they do

This service used to be really quick, like it was a big deal if a delivery took more than 20 minutes, conservatively. Since around the time they merger with Getir it’s consistently an hour plus, and that’s on top of minimum order fees, delivery fees, tips, etc. Even when they offer a discount it’s not worth it if it takes super long to deliver something.
