With the addition of Circles, I love having a dedicated channel for communication on top of all the other features already provided. But often, the notifications don’t clear nor do all the messages show. It often takes deleting the app to get everything to sync.
The notifications aren’t great. They seem to stay on the app even when read. Makes it hard to find conversations too.
So many bugs with the flags. This has been one since the dawn of the app! I can’t get rid of the notification flags even though I visit the text string or restart the app.
App has good intentions and interface is fine, but is riddled with little bugs. Some adults with no social media will use this app which is mostly a good thing. Only the adults circle is used for communication, and we use other apps are used for the youth. Posted images do not zoom well. Figuring out what is unread is difficult to make the red annotation go away.
Not a bad app, but my main issue is when I have looked at the messages it won’t clear the notification away. So, it’s always on. It’s kind of irritating to see that one notification and I can’t do anything about it. Other than it’s not bad.
Love the circles part of the app, but would love it even more if there were reactions to messages! I don’t always want to reply in a group, but would love it if I could like or love someone’s message to let them know I read it.
Activities in this app should have an option to sync with the official Ward calendars In the circles, when there replies, it’s hard to see where there is a thread. Custom circles for adults, so leaders with same responsibilities can talk to each other
I would love to give this app five stars, but with notifications not working for me on circles, it makes it really hard to know when people are adding content. I don’t check the app everyday so having a notification pop up to tell me someone made a comment on circles would be a huge update. Also, the “send feedback” feature does not allow me to submit feedback.
I am so happy to see the bugs have been worked out of this app! I do have a suggestion that would make this app complete. A full calendar! So activities could seen all at once. This would help with planning activities so much easier. This one feature would make this the perfect app. I would also love for something to be sent out by the church reminding the saints of this app since all the bug fixes. Many went away and haven’t come back or have never heard of it. This is too a valuable resource b
This app has a lot of nice features but despite numerous updates to fix bugs, I continue to have a problem with false notifications for messages which I have already read within Circle conversations. The app has shown 2 notifications for the same message circles for the past few months and they just won’t go away despite there being no new messages. It’s pretty annoying and makes me not want to use the app. Also, sometimes the Circle conversations won’t load all the messages or it won’t load a p
I attached several photos of our youth activity in one of the circles, but the photos don’t “stick”… I can’t see them anymore in the circles thread. Can the app’s developers please publish an announcement somehow to let us know whether these glitches are being addressed? If not, our ward youth leaders may resort to finding a more stable app, which would be a shame.
Our YW group was super excited about this. I discovered pretty quickly we can’t update/edit/ make changes to an activity that was created for the group. I would love to be able to have that option.
I’m trying to use circles to communicate with our ward council, I can’t add our assigned high councilman to the communications. I’d like to communicate with all the adult young men leaders, no circle for that. When I’m messaging the screen keeps trying to auto-scroll down. Sometimes a message won’t show as read in a group (has the red dot despite opening the group) unless I press and hold to mark all messages as read.
Love the circles part of the app, but would love it even more if there were reactions to messages! I don’t always want to reply in a group, but would love it if I could like or love someone’s message to let them know I read it.
This app has great potential and has come a long way since being created. There are a few bugs that I hope can be fixed. I think the biggest one is the notification bubble. I’m grateful that I know when people are talking on the app but once seen the bubble does not go away. As someone who tries to never have that red notification bubble on their phone this is frustrating. I’m hoping that this bug is fixed soon.
Need bug fixed. Mine continuously shows I have new messages when I do not. I tried removing the app and adding it back but it didn’t fix.
This app doesn’t work for me at all. I don’t receive new messages at all, it’ll show in the main page that something is new, but doesn’t show in the actual conversation when I open it. I don’t get notifications at all, either. It just doesn’t work for me which is frustrating in my new calling- I’m missing all the communication
Too glitchy to be useful. The RSVP function only works for children on occasion, clicking on a notification doesn’t take you to the post you wanted to see, and the circles are too limiting. Why can’t I create a custom circle?
This new update solved the glitch where it wouldn’t update. Thanks. I still love Gospel Living.
How can I delete old messages? I have them from as far back as a year ago. I do not want them taking up space or potentially confusing them for up to date data. Thanks.
Great way to get quick inspiration and communicate with relevant groups instead of using text or other apps. Notifications via icon badges consistently don’t disappear after Circles messages are read, so I withheld one star.
I would love to use circles but when I add my MRN and sign in, it goes right back to the same page without making any changes- I’m stuck in a loop. Would love to have this fixed so I can actually use the app :)
One of my circles (RS) always shows 1 unread message. Other people are having this issue and as a result, new messages are being missed. I have tried checking each message, deleting the app, unsubscribing to the circle, and nothing works. Otherwise, I love the app.
In the goals part you can create goals but sometimes you will press save and it will not save. But the rest of the app is great, it is just the bugs in the goals section.
I can’t access my kids circles from my account. I can view the information, but can’t comment as a parent. My kids don’t have cell phones and can’t access their information, which has me switching accounts constantly. Super frustrating. If there is a way to change the settings that allows parents to comment rather than just view - please let me know.
So the app works pretty well and very intuitive to use, but me and a few people I know have been kicked out of the circles tab. I used to be in like 5 chats now I’m only in 3, my bishop knows about this and has tried to add me back in but it hasn’t worked. I’d love if this could be resolved as fast as possible:) thank you!
I have used this app for a while and I love it! I would really love if there was an Apple Watch app as well.
I wish you could be able to create your own circles like with the Aaronic priesthood leader ship or the bishopric and somebody else in the ward.
The app is great, it just needs to be separated into two apps; one for communication specifically and the other for goals/videos to share. Kind of like how Facebook has a separate messenger app now. Please update!
I have deleted the app, reinstalled and still cannot edit an event that I created. Simply need to change the start time and the app crashes. I have tried this on my iPad and iPhone and run into the same issue.
I can’t title my goals please fix this bug.
Love this app to communicate with ward members BUT there are many bugs that need to be fixed. My notifications never go away so I always have that little number on my app which drives me bonkers! Please fix this bug!
I would like to have a circle for my seminary class. It would be a great way to communicate.
This is good for members but I’m in young men’s and we have many non member boys, we use groupme since we can connect with both members and non members. This app cuts out the non members or Investgators. There needs to be a way to include them.
I’d love to have the ability to create our own circles and the ability to receive notifications.
I don’t have the app anymore so I can’t review it.
I love this app for the kiddies. But I wish that the goals portion of “my life” had a checkbox that they could use to show that they’d completed their goal.
I LOVE this app it helps me to feel like the savior really loves me and is there for me and I love watching the videos and keeping my personal goals on this app
Hi I would like to start out this is an amazing app I use this everyday and I was wondering if you could make a circles chat for seminary Thx
I really love this app! It might be my phone, but the app freezes and crashes a lot. Otherwise, I use it daily to set and track goals and write in my journal!
This is a great phone app but not everyone has a phone that can download this app or a phone period. I wish there was a desktop app for those members. Other than that it’s a great app.

This app has potential but there are so many bugs and glitches that it is almost worthless. Our Ward made a major effort to make this our primary communication tool, but notices were so unreliable, that members couldn’t use it. I hope the Church will invest an approximate amount to make this work the way it was designed.
Developer to developer. As of Feb 2024, with latest XCode please target older versions of iOS if dev libraries still work (React Native, Native, etc..). iPhones can be expensive for just a Church social media app! For example, an iPhone 7 Plus can be plenty fast with iOS 15.# and an app for iPhone 6S with some creative optimizations (again in 15!!). This App will be faster for it in the long run. For example, Facebook targets 13 (12 for other types of Apps). Thank you!!
And also a lot more work. Compared to other messaging apps this app is so clunky and difficult to use. Please put more effort in making Circles better as we have a hard time using it to communicate in the ward
I can get the App to load 3-4 times and then it crashes every time I try to load it. I can’t get it to load again unless I reboot my phone or delete and re-add the app. I’m using an iPhone 6 with plenty of memory.
