Functions just like the familiar TI83 handheld including stat regression graphs. Can’t buy handheld TI 83 for this price. Free updates to boot. Free programs do not compete well with this app.

& I’m very annoyed that buttons will occasionally cover other buttons & will Not allow The offensive buttons to be moved ( !!! ) also; is there a pdf instructions manual that goes along with it ?

I’ve been using this app for years. Great to have a graphing calculator in my pocket that works like the one I’m used to! I really appreciate the updates to support the new iOS. Happy to see that the author is still keeping it up to date. Edit: now it’s 2026, and he’s still keeping it updated!

Very practical for my everyday use. Quite often I use the stats function to determine regression equations for grains vs velocity data.

2026 - I can't count the number of other apps I have tried since 2010, but this one is the best. Keep up the great work! (4Q2019 update) This is STILL *the* calculator app that beats out all others. I wish schools would standardize on this app. (1Q2026 update) Still the best!

I have been using the this app throughout my college years. It’s suitable for my calculus and chemistry classes. Most importantly it’s free and ad free versus an expensive scientific calculator. Its comprehensive functionality makes it easy to use. Recommend for college students.

For work and school

I’ve used this app for over 6 years. I say it’s better than a physical graphing calculator because of the ease of using a touch screen to interact with the graphs. Zooming in and out is easy, finding intercepts is easy, as well as finding inflection points/ local maxes and minima. When I updated my phone, I was sad to see that it wasn’t working, but I just heard about the update and am so glad that I can continue to use it over the native calculator that Apple provides. Straight up, this calculator emulator has been by my side any time I’ve had to run calculations. From statistics to finding the material properties of uranium dioxide at different temperatures, this app has been my go to. I’ve preferred this over desmos, wabbit.emu, and only ever pass it when I’m running python script. Very functional calculator app that does things my old graphing calculator wishes it could do. The appearance is tidy and based on the most familiar graphing calculator designs of the past 30 years. I am an AP Calc, Stats, and Precal teacher and I teach with this from my iPad and recommend it to all my kids. Most valuable app I own! Plus you have to give the developer props for not doing this ridiculous subscription nonsense!

A good app overall except for the solver. It can give incorrect answers. I tested it against a problem with a known answer. My real 84 got it right. The solver on this app was way off.

This calculator has helped my kids throughout high school and now into college. I never had statistics, so this app is a godsend to them. Love it!

I've had this app for a while but didn't realize until a day or two ago how superior the graphing is in so many ways (e.g., pinch zooming, f(x,y) mode, and the magnifier). It's well worth the cost, *far* less then the cost of a calculator (and the developer deserves a lot of credit for making the app free during the height of the pandemic). Some time ago I discovered a minor bug and wrote to the developer, who fixed it almost instantly and was very gracious.

It’s just insane to think I have a fully functional graph Calc on my phone. Mind blown. Just awesome and kudos to the developer.

Love the calculator and all of its functions! Saved me from last minute problem solving that my TI-84 wasn’t able to perform. Excellent and extremely useful.

I used this going through my CM Program in some pretty intensive classes and have used it throughout my career calculating all kinds of things. it’s a no nonsense calculator app that pretty much allows you to turn your phone into a graphing calc. It’s worth the download and i have repeatedly turned to this calc for all kinds of things over the last 6 years or so.

You might not be allowed to use this app on a test, but it is as functional as any standard graphing calculator out there. The developer has done a good job implementing all the features and even enhancing the experience with the phone touchscreen. It is not buggy or slow, and the design is well thought out. There is no drawback to this app. I wouldn’t go back to a real graphing calculator, though a graphing calculator has real buttons. I use this app all the time. For me it is worth the investm

Great alternative to buying a $100+ TI-Series calculator, got me through online class during… uncertain times, with minor differences in menus and functionality. Really nice that the developer made it free during said uncertain times as well. Many thanks!

Use it almost daily very convenient to be built into my iPad. As an engineer I am constantly in need of a calculator and the more capability it has the better off I am. I am also a retired math, teacher, and adjunct professor, and I recommend this product greatly to my students as a low-cost alternative to purchasing a a graphing calculator, and, of course, having the capability to use it at any time. This product is worth every penny you may pay for the app, and then some don’t hesitate to buy
