Really good

I love the music and art over all I was amazed !

Simply Beautiful

Amazing game, incredible imagery, a masterpiece in simplicity and execution.

The best game I’ve ever played

Immersive, dreamlike, and intriguing, this is by far my favorite game. I found the game oddly emotional, but that’s also one of the reasons why I love it so much. Thank you 🖤

Superb game

I wish I could erase the game from my mind so I could play it again

Absolute delight

This is a great combination of beautiful art style and fun game play. The process of getting different colors back is a perfect metaphor of different mental states. The watercolor art style feels so emotional and beautiful. On top of that I enjoyed the gameplay 100%. It did a great job guiding me through, introducing new abilities step by step and giving hints in the most natural way, providing the perfect balance between challenging and rewarding. I’m deeply touched by the journey and couldn’t

Nice game

The game is nice but there’s sometimes a glitch and she can’t jump especially when it’s needed.

The GRISiest Game Ever

I really liked it when she said, “It’s GRISing time!” and GRISed all over. 10/10

Must-play

As soon as I finished this game, I played it through again 8 times in a row. I’m not kidding 😳. The soundtrack is gorgeous and the artwork is some of the best I’ve seen in games. Some people mentioned glitches where they couldn’t move or progress further, but I didn’t encounter any when I played. The storyline is beautiful and just feels human. This is without a doubt one of my top 10 favorite games, and so many thanks to the creators ❤️. If you’re considering downloading this game, please do. I

Gorgeous

This is a gorgeous, moving game that is just challenging enough.

Amazing and beautiful!😍

This is like no game I’ve ever played. It’s so emotional and deep. Definitely the most gorgeous game I’ve ever played highly recommended to all!

Beautiful game.

This is one of the first games that have made me cry. I have never sobbed so much after finishing one.

Wish I Could Play It Again For The First Time

Gris is such a beautiful game that I’m so grateful for stumbling upon. A story of grieving and rebuilding your world by learning to see the colors of life again; it’s a deeply relatable experience that anyone can enjoy and appreciate. It’s a fun platforming game that is not overly challenging. I love it for the gorgeous scenery and touching soundtrack. It’s so well-polished and a pleasure to play through!

Beautiful, evocative, relaxing

I enjoyed this game over a few days. It’s a good platformer, very relaxing and rewarding to play. I looked forward to playing it at the end of the day. I used a controller. It’s a bit confusing that there is also Gris+ on Arcade which works on Apple TV.

actually way better than expected

i was a little worried that the game would just be pretty art but this is a really great game. it’s not meant to be tricky and tells the story through little pieces, the pacing is wonderful. i’m so bad at describing the emotional aspect but overall it’s so worth paying for and i HIGHLY recommend playing. thank you for the great experience!!

Emotional, evocative, intriguing…. Loved it

Every so often, I find a game I love, and then there are games where I say, “I get it.” So impressed with the visuals, and the puzzles do not disappoint. But then the way the abilities unfold in order to progress the story arc of overcoming and healing are really very moving. I really enjoyed every minute of game play- being stumped, the humor in the way certain puzzles are solved, the fluidity. Really glad I tried this one and won’t soon forget it.

Beautiful and moving

I know it’s been said many times already, but this is really the most beautiful game I’ve ever played. The artwork, music, and symbolism are very moving, and I actually feel like I learned something from the game. Don’t be surprised if you cry at the end.

Best game I’ve ever played

I love everything about this game especially how symbolic it is! Best $5 I’ve ever spent in my life.

One flaw, but great progression.

At first, this game was boring, but over time, the color in the temple, forest, Green temple, Light temple, and the ending had got me into this game more and more. Although, you could’ve used more pointers on what to do at first, and could’ve added other paths to take. I have seen everything in the game, and a sequel would be the best thing in my entire life. Please add At Least a few megabytes worth of content.. it would add a more interactive compensation and comprehension for a game that is

Absolutely stunning game

I just finished playing Gris, and let me tell you the music and graphics are both insanely beautiful. Although the game is short, I believe it was worth every penny. It felt like more than a game, it felt as if I was walking through a painting. Every single scene looked like it belonged in a museum and all of the puzzles were just difficult enough, only getting me to the point where I’d scratch my head at most. All in all a beautiful game and I’d give it more than 5 stars if I could!

Stunning game

Stunning art work and beautiful message. Really walks you through all the emotions, very beautiful game.

How did I find this?

So, I just got to the near end of the game, so I checked every crevice. Next thing ya know, you see a memento, but bigger… is there something going on here?

Beautiful

Beautiful game. Gorgeous art. Adorable interactions with the world. Semi simple puzzles but some challenging. I cried in the forest section with rock pal. Totally endearing.

This is a Artwork

The best game I had ever played. Actually I can’t say it is a game, it is ART

Oh ouch. My heart

Tears. Literal tears are on my face. I didn’t think mobile games could make me feel so deeply. This is a masterpiece. Well done to everyone involved.

Absolutely Stunning

The visuals and music are gorgeous, and the storyline is mysterious and intriguing. I had a lot of fun playing this game!

Almost hypnotic, I’m impressed. Basically a puzzle platform game. Well worth the $2.

This game is quite different & outstanding. It taps into the emotional side very well and is very engaging. I love the music and the visuals are amazing!!

Breathtaking ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Stunningly beautiful game, both in art, and music!! It took me a few minutes to understand what I was supposed to do, but once I did, I couldn’t stop. Great job!!!!

Beautiful

Beautiful game with good music. The gameplay is very intuitive too

So cute

The game was great and worth every penny I paid. The design and characters are unique and I Hope they make a similar game in the future as I enjoyed this one.

A but of trouble

I want to start off by saying so far I love love love this game! Only problem is I am having a bit of trouble with the controls. Jumping from place to place is so frustrating, I literally cried.

One of the most underrated games

This is game is one of the most underrated games. Not only is it beautiful, but the puzzles are interesting and not rage inducing.

Awesome

It was a really nice game to play, beautifully designed and very engaging. I enjoyed it a lot!!!

Clean

The game’s polished. Now that I’m downloading this months after bus we’re discovered and fixed, I can best describe this game as clean. I do think it’s only worth 2.99 or 3.99, but this is definitely a good game.

3 Negative User Reviews for Gris

Aesthetic yet frustrating

I wanted to give this game a chance despite the fact I don’t normally play puzzle games because I heard great things about it. Alas, it became too challenging especially with the IOS controls and lack of a good tutorial. It’s sad because I’m sure this game had a lot of potential as well as a moving story. I wish there was a mode where you can just see the story unfold. If the game was more forgiving/ accessible it would be much better.

Good effort

The game is pretty. Now for the negatives. The two biggest flaws are that the gameplay is too slow and you don’t know what you’re playing for. You walk around a lot and are met with occasional obstacles. When you get to the obstacles, you’re already too bored from the slowness and lack of motivation. You have no drive overcome the obstacles or the cryptic thought process of the designer. I’d play the next game this designer makes, but was uninterested in finishing this one.

Bad development

I really like this game, I even bought the full version after playing the demo on Apple Arcade , which lead to my disappointment as I can only complete the same amount of game time in the full version as the demo. The game keeps ending even tho I’ve only completed the color stages and the acceptance stage or whatever it is. I just want to complete the game without it ending before I can get the chance.
