I’m not sure why this hasn’t been addressed enough. GroupMe is almost my last resort for group chats. The app crashes consistently. Messages take forever to load, or something don’t load at all. Failures to send a message are consistent. Picture quality is horrible when you send photos. If you want to send a photo or a video, good luck. Even if you have great internet, the app will constantly load and load and then your message will fail to send. It’s a nice app but man it’s a huge hassle

Hey y’all this is emery I wanted to share my opinion with everyone who is looking 👀 at this. Anyway this app is good I guess 👍. But I have a problem the problem is if you have an email number you can’t use it 😐 please fix this 🙏 it’s a great app but I would love ❤️ it if that detail could be fixed. Thanks 😊

Photos from my iPhone 15 are not loading. The post just spins. I am unable to delete or post. I have even tried just one or two photos at a time.

I’ve been a long time user of Group me and I love it in concept. However it is so glitchy. Especially lately, I’m not sure if there is just something wrong with the most recent update or what but my messages rarely send and the app struggles to load and suddenly quits literally all the time 😕 I hope the bugs get worked out soon because it really is one of the best group chat apps

I have a lot of group chats and each one gives me its own and unique problem. One will work decently, one is super slow and won’t always open, multiple I can’t upload pictures to. I wish they would all just work the same so I can at least know what to expect.

I cannot send pictures to my group work chat and I’m legitimately getting in trouble for it. Please fix this issue or I will be telling my boss to switch to a different app.

I’m no longer getting updated messages sent to my iPhone 13 after the most recent update. Please fix this. Thank you

My fantasy football league started using this app. And it’s great. Super easy to communicate and talk smack to each other. Can yall add a way to pin polls? Cause sometimes the polls will get lost in all the messages sent and then have to scroll all the way up.

Love the idea of the app but this keeps crashing when I’m trying to post an update.

Allow 5000- 10000 character in the message. I have to split the message into three parts

Works fine for the most part but it has too many bugs, like not being able to delete conversations or it shows I have unread messages when I don’t.

If this is a free app why is there a payment policy in terms of service?

There should be a completely automated public turing test when users create an account because bots keep joining chats and spam messages that are a scam or causes a virus.

I’m sure it’s a good app but when you go on the App Store it says it’s for twelve year olds and up will I download it and signed up and it said I could not use the app because I was twelve so please change it to where in the App Store it says 13.

When it works it works, when it doesn’t it’s completely useless

GroupMe has been very useful with staying in contact with many of the mothers and families in the Support Ministry at our church. Having group me has enhanced all of our communication.

Big alert. Some groups don’t notify the users device for chat updates.

great app but i’m unable to change the owner of the group!! it doesn’t seem to work

My highschool soccer team uses this. I like the concept and all, but when they invite me, it sends me to the App Store (here) and doesn’t send me to said group chat. Fix this

Good app! But Would be nice to see who seen the massage you put out so you know if they seen it or not!

I think a diagnostic version of the app was released on accident, as I am also affected by the Wormholy issue that shows all API get/post requests.

This app is just great for texting in general because you can make any group you want and text through sms.

Please fix the error where the notifications stick even though there’s not a new one

It is so slow!! I know my Internet can be slow but I can’t get something to post multiple times. I will still use GroupMe but I do hope that there is someway to do smaller pictures and picture collage!

App is good but PLEASE FIX the notifications on the Home Screen. They will not go away lol

We use this for work & it’s super useful for everyone to communicate & all get the same message. Please please please make an Apple Watch app!

For some reason the only option I have for visibility for the group is hidden. I don't get why I can't make it visible.

Transfer of ownership of the group chat would be EXTREMELY HELPFUL

Pretty great app but the polls in the group chats are broken. None of us can see each other’s votes and polls aren’t ending when they’re supposed to expire.

But why can’t you leave a group without it being “announced” to the group you’re leaving? I’d sometimes like to leave a group without the announcement. I tried muting the group, but that did absolutely nothing. I still got notifications.

So I have an app called text free, and my friend adds me to a group chat and it goes to that app instead of groupme. And no one is getting my texts on groupme either. Please help but at her wise great app and I appreciate your work

Like Signal but direct messaging doesn’t work and there’s a small file size limit on sharing. It works pretty well but the basic function of direct messaging seems to be an issue.

Videos have stopped uploading. When I try to upload a video, the ONLY way I can upload it is to change it to a GIF. They won’t upload any other way.

Something broke on the iPad version in the past few months…it now takes about 30 seconds after starting the app to be able to select a chat…new and annoying behavior. This doesn’t occur on the iPhone version

Intermittently can’t add people to groups (app will crash) - happens on web as well. Maybe just with phone #s who don’t use GroupMe yet

Getting help from apps or tech companies is usually a nightmare of being asked to jump through hundreds of hoops over weeks of time to get nowhere. I needed help and before my first break GroupMe CS fixed my problem. I’m very impressed.

I love the app I use it a lot for work but if we can delete messages that would be great so many direct messages that I can’t delete it’s annoying

Chats do not open in the iPad app. Please fix this! *5/9/22 STILL not fixed

This app was very good because I used if for my sports team so we can know when we have to play sports during seasons or when we have to go out and practice

We use this app for our teams at church. Problem is that messages that were deleted show up years later. I delete conversations and Spam, but every iOS update or new phone they show up again.

Have to remove and reinstall Groupme repeatedly, as the app opens but my group won’t open, once reloaded seems to work... for a few days. No problem on the iPhone.
