The bad reviews are definitely from people that don’t realize you can use a controller on your Mac for most of these iPad games haha

It’s not a bad game at all back in 2024 the latest update that’s came out where it broke controller support and doesn’t remove mobile controls when using controller also you can’t perform the following actions Can’t use Throwable’s Can’t do a flying kick Can’t do open weapon inventory unless it’s meant to be like this I think you need to fix it

Im on the latest MacBook Pro and it works. Even with controller. Just no in game settings to adjust resolution/graphics/controls etc. It actually is better on an iPhone though. It works but like I said not great. I feel like there are better ways to play this if you were thinking about it solely for Mac. I already had it on iPhone years ago just was playing again , this should only be bought on a good sale. Don’t pay full price

Wish the controls for this game on controller were more streamlined, very happy I get to play this game on my phone now though. Best drug dealing system of all gta game imo.

This game still holds up with a lot of the top mobiles I think out there. I loving replaying Chinatown wars every couple years and every time I’ve played, I have discovered something new. The gameplay mechanics are unique and amazing.

This is an amazing game but it would be better if the game didn’t crash every 10 mins of play time I can’t even get into the game without crashing and loosing all progress it really squeezes the fun right out of it i don’t know if it’s because I have an iPhone 13 I updated everything hoping to fix things but here we are righting a review

I have gotten the game a few hours ago. I’m playing the missions and I’m supposed to use Molotov to blow up cars but can’t switch to them to do so I love this game and will continue playing this game until they update it.

the game is super, well, I would like to play it forever, I can’t afford to buy something, if you make it for free, I will be grateful to you, thank you in advance

You used to be able to slide from gas to brake to simulate the handbrake but that had stopped working. Only controllers work. Future buyers beware; I would wait for an update of you want to use touch controls.

The game is fine no problems and I can play it with my backbone but I did see that it said I can add my own music and I followed instructions and nothing yet, I’m on iphone 14 so I don’t know if there’s a way for me to add

I’d like to play this on the Apple TV. Plus, to be able to save my data on icloud. Thank you.

I’m playing this on an iPhone 13 and it’s running beautifully. I took caution when reading the reviews and seeing a lot of people having problems getting the game to work. I can safely say that through my entire play thru, I have not had any crashes or bugs that were game breaking. I have my reluctance with the other GTA games being on mobile because of the controls but this game fits perfectly within a touch screen platform. I recommend this GTA on iOS and believe Rockstar should expand on this

By the title i meant i wish the frame rate could be boosted a bit and i did get a crash during the mission “Payback” when a gang member got in a car and sped away. Other than those things, i’m really happy this is game is still being sold. Same with Liberty City Stories.

Please make a new one or remaster these graphics again for the newer phones.

20fps gameplay is pretty sad given the power of new iOS devices. Unleash the beast and let us play this in 120hz with pro motion

I love the top down perspective like in GTA and GTA 2. It’s like that but better and no I’m not a bot I just like this game

I love Chinatown Wars, but the frames are definitely taking away from the experience. Modern iPhones should be able to play this at 60+ fps. I wish you guys would fix this issue. Otherwise, I recommend.

When I was younger I played this game so much then I saw it on iOS and it is AMAZING. First of all, the custom radio feature is so good and also the graphics are way better

My only two complaints are that there are no multiplayer or cloud saves

I love this game but when I get to the Molotov mission I can’t equip the Molotov the icon is there but I press and it doesn’t equip I can’t keep playing after that mission I play on a iPhone11 pro max please help

Ok this game is great the story everything especially when Zhou kills Uri but anyway there should be and online mode to this that would be very cool

On one mission when I get to the special points it crashes

So I’ve played this game 10 years ago when it came out but now I’ve bought it for my iPhone 11 and some times it just exits the app unexpectedly But if rockstar sees this please fix this glitch. Thank you. Juan Huerta

I love GTA chinatownwars It even costs five dollars no more!Ive been playing for 5 years this game I still love GTA: Chinatown Wars

It tells you that you can make a playlist in your iTunes but when you go to Independence FM nothing happens. Fix that! If you prefer to play on a ps4 or Xbox controller you cant do a flying kick. It’s not mapped on the controller. You can’t open dumpsters or unscrew cars. Too many things require you to touch the screen when it wasn’t even a touch screen game ti begin with. Otherwise it’s fine.
