i love gubbins i am a slave to the game truly but i just randomly encountered a bug that everytime i try to place a letter the app crashes. i haven’t been able to play for a hot minute ᴖ̈ i wanted to finish my daily please fixx <3

It's fun, a lot like scrabble but you only get one free game a day and sometimes when you out down a good gubbin tile, it expires before you can even use it, so thats frustrating. I also know if I'm going to get a good final score based on my first set of tiles since the game gives you letters so it takes out the randomness and challenge to make your own words.

Gubbins is gorgeously designed, really fun to play, and never buggy. What else can I ask for? I see accessibility built into the UI, too. I can’t believe I didn’t discover the game sooner.

The graphics are cute and making words are fun, but some "words" appear to be acronyms, or not even words at all, stringing random letters together. The other big issue is this game eats memory for breakfast. Even with all the effects turned off, my phone heats up and the game lags, causing letters to drop wherever it froze, or selecting partial words instead of the whole thing. I'd give another star if the memory issue was fixed.

This game is beautifully designed, quirky, and fun. I bought the infinite play within a day. There are no ads, no subscriptions, and no annoying “mobile game” features. Get Gubbins!

An incredible little game with everything you could want: great music, adorable animations, simple yet challenging gameplay, and some unexpected humor to top it all off. I opened the daily game and laughed out loud at the prewritten phrase on the board… what more could anybody ask for.

I love this game. That's all. I really wish I could’ve restored all of my punctuation packs, though. Oh well.

I was writing a super long review about this game while switching between apps to confirm some things, but that disappeared because of RAM, so in short; The game's great, and is worth the price of entry ($0.00) for the daily play, with zero ads or predatory micro-transactions. The DLC is fairly priced for what you get, it's all one-off purchases for unlimited play, minor expansions, and some cosmetics for the post-game score card editor. Overall, great word puzzle game with a vast and lenient

My only qualm is a couple times now, I’ve had a game paused and when I go back to play it, I accidentally hit “end game” instead of the X in the top right to close the pause menu. So, I wish it took a few more steps or was more difficult to unintentionally end the game from the pause menu, maybe an “are you sure?” prompt or something before ending it. Other than that, it’s a lot of fun!

Very good game. Wish I could play a little longer on the free version.

Love this game, well worth the money and very chill.

So much fun and the perfect mix of challenging and relaxing. It’s easy to pick up and put down, and there’s no obnoxious “freemium” element. The design is clean and is almost as big of a selling point as the game itself. Which is saying something, because the game is classic, yet innovative and one of my new favorites. Only bit of feedback is I wish the letters would magnify when you pick them up so you can see them better! They can sometimes get lost as I have long nails. That’s genuinely t

This game oozes with style. The rules are so different than any other word game I’ve played and all the different elements work well together. What happened in the last update though? It shrunk the entire UI on my iPhone 15 pro. Lastly, it’s up to you, obviously, to decide on pricing but perhaps shaving just a couple of bucks off the $9.99 package might invite a few more takers. Just my thoughts. Lastly, some of your UI elements are partially chopped off by the Dynamic Island.
