The Guide + for BOI is the PERFECT companion app! My children and I use it religiously, no pun intended. Besides the information you can get on an item before picking it up in the Shop, Devil Room, Angel rooms ect.. You can really plan out goals you want to achieve. It breaks down beautifully in perfect detail everything aspect of the game and can help you get out of a pinch when at crossroads of how to continue the run. S/O to the dev, your doing Ed McMillen type good here.

Literally love this app. Makes the game so much fun, and easier to understand

I used the free guide for awhile, but just shell out the cash if you play Isaac even semi-regularly. Using the wikis online are cumbersome and this thing is set up as well as an Isaac guide can be.

This is by far the easiest most complete guide to the game I have ever seen bar none! It’s so fast and easy to learn to use, and look up what you need on the fly! I have been flying blind but now thanks to this app/guide my wife and I maximize every single run! I know it’s the best money I’ve ever spent on an app. I think they have a free version also, but the creator of this app has pored in time and effort to make it truly great! This application has aided me in my 500+ hours in repentance towards understanding the complexities and varieties this game has to to offer. From the way bosses attack down to the synergies of different items; with easy-to-use UI, navigating the application can be done without a second thought. This app has been EXTREMELY helpful to me. I play BOI quite a bit off and on, so a lot of the time I forget what an item does. I just pull this up, open the item scanner (which is VERY helpful when you don’t know the name of an item) and boom there it is. Need to know how to get to a specific floor? It can tell you that too. This guide is everything I hoped it would be and more. It’s truly incredible. I stopped playing Binding of Isaac for over a year and never took this app off my device because it’s still fun to look through what it offers. Now that I’m back playing the game again, I’m quickly reminded of how useful this app is.

For those of you looking to understand BoI and its intricacies, cant do much better than this app. The scanning feature is very rad. Isaac and its 700+ items really is just like Pokemon nowadays. To study and review everything in the game is paramount in figuring out how to win in it. This app helps you do just that.

I’ve been using this guide since the original Afterbirth was released and it has helped immensely. Every time there’s an update, you can expect one on this app as well, which is incredibly refreshing. Not only does it give detailed descriptions for every item available in BOI, but it also includes a feature that allows you to take a photo of the item and the app will provide you with any and all needed information. Best app purchase I’ve made to this day!

Everything you do is a balloon

It takes a lot of tapping to go back and forth searching for different items For example, I commonly look at the devil room item Pool then angel room item pool and back and forth. But, that takes a lot of time. It would be easier to just switch tabs and have each search saved Perhaps a search history feature could be good or something that lets you compare multiple items at once easily

Just thought I’d give my 2 cents in on how amazing this app is. I’ve been using it for years and even gave the app money because of how much I love how it functions. It’s so user friendly, shoot, you can search just by color. Little things like that get me and it helps during every run I do in Isaac. Huge huge props to these developers. Update: 7/2022: LOVE that I can use my camera to search items. Best app ever.

It is everything you need and you shouldn’t play without it. The paid version is worth it. An immaculate app.

The sub type item filter doesn’t work. It shows nothing if any sub types other than all are selected (all other filters on all).

This developer should write the book on how to make game reference apps.
