Better than expected

True it’s a bit pixilated, but who cares when you’re looking for a playable chord in a particular position. I’d been looking for weeks for such a usuable chord in a difficult spot for a jazz standard solo. Opened the program, entered the chord, clicked on the fret I needed—presto!—I was able to add another composition to my repertoire. Good Idea But Limited Usefulness

No problem with the graphics. Like the idea of being able to resize and copy and paste to my editor, but cannot edit a chord to add or delete notes to show only the notes to be played. Also, the chord options do not include split chords, which would be a plus. These two improvements would definitely move my rating higher.

Some stuff is weird

So some stuff is presented weird. Like the open chords use the 2nd fret rather than the nut to reference fingering. I’ve never seen that before, so it takes some getting used to.

All Strings Only

There's no way to silence strings or choose what string the root starts on. I'll be returning this soon.

Needs better categories

The graphics are fine. But the app is missing an entire category of chord from the drop down list - “Dominant”. And the chords that are shown when “Maj” is selected the chords shown are not Maj 7th but Dom 7th. There’s a big difference, for example, between a C7 and a CMaj7 chord but when I select "C | Maj | 7" - what I get is pictures of a C dominant 7 (C7). This also applies to the 9th chords. It might be easy to remedy for the developers so I look forward to future versions. But for so
