Printing chords and scales

This a a great app for guitarists. I love the scales capability. It would be nice if you were able to print the scales fingering. It would alaso be nice if you can input your own custom scales.

Gitar Gravitas

I like this app because its support lefty players, also is very eazy to find chord or scale that you need.

Must Have for Daily Practice and Reference

This app is ridiculously good. I use it every day during my practice sessions. I highly recommend it. I docked a star though. I bought the premium version, it’s dirt cheap, after using the free version for a while. The app crashes upon opening a lot. I couldn’t use it at all yesterday. Today, it’s up. It’s been behaving like this for me for a few weeks now. I’m hoping the dev sees this and can cure the crash debacle.

Very well done with one omission.

I love this app as both a reference and a teaching tool to prevent writing that which has already been written a billion times. I just wish there was an option to see things in musical notation on the staff either intervals and fingering like that offered on the tab. That’s the hard part of reading notation quickly is guidance on fingering when looking at the notes on the staff. Everything else is great!

very useful

I like tht they identify the notes in the chord and arpeggio patterns so I can see what I am doing and it makes sense!

Nice

Thanks really helpful good job

Holy Grail

The scale [they] didn’t want us to see. Look up the 9 note blues scale and you’ll begin to see and hear all the songs that inspired you to play guitar to begin with. Screen mirror the app to your smart TV and start creating. This app is all you’ll ever need. It’s worth every dime.

Good App. Room for (critical) Improvement

Just downloaded and although there's a ton of theory info and useful information, there are two major items that need attention: 1. Metronome Volume Adjustment (it's unuseable if trying to practice with, in my case UAD Console. Sure, I can turn down the volume but I also turn down the guitar deeming metronome useless.. 2. Playback BPM Adjustment. The playback of scales (for example) whizzes by so fast, it's hard to verify notes when playing with guitar. I paid for full version and on the fenc

Very great app

Love this app specially the arpeggios. The helper of helpers!

Go-to App

This is my go-to app whenever I'm practicing guitar. I love how easy it is to find alternate chord fingerings, and I very much like their immense scale library.

Great app! Lots of stuff in one place

Lots of capability here. Just got started. I’ve been playing for years. Wish I had this years ago.

My Guitar treasure

Excellent and versatile tool for guitarist.

Good, but has room for improvement.

There are more names for the various modes than anyone could ever need, but the interface could use some refinements.

Love this app!

This is by far the most thorough app I’ve used. There are scales, chords, theory lessons, that are all easy to understand. Extras like a tuner and metronome are wonderful. I would honestly have paid more for it. Thank you, Guitar Gravitas!

Great app

I’ve gotten a lot of use from this app. It has about everything you need to learn scales, chord and arpeggios. It’s a good solid reference for me.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This app is awesome! I wish I’d know about it sooner, could’ve saved me from wasting time and/or money on almost every other chord/scale app I’ve tried. I haven’t tried the tuner yet but I will asap(rewiring my guitar atm) and I’ll review - I have high hopes for it though, already! Thanks guys! MightyBouch

Excellent guitar reference

There are two versions of this app on the Mac app store, one is free (and wasn't able to load content, including the store) and this $7.99 Total ed edition. Anyway, $7.99 is a bargain. This is the most comprehensive guitar reference I've ever seen on the Mac - and I've been doing computers and music for a long time! My only wish is that it displayed keys in the circle of fifths or fourths along the top, and more clearly displayed which key is selected. Overall though, it's really great.

Does a lot right, but has room for improvement.

The chord and scale encyclopedias appear to be robust, however the UI could benefit from some flexibility. When viewing scales, I'd like the option of resizing the skeumorphic fretboard into some of the space above where I don't need so many lines of scales in written form. A sliding window seems doable. Also, I'd like to be able to open multiple scale diagrams--say, Aeolian and Pentatonic, simultaneously. Other items would be more useful were they not buried in the settings--which guitar tu

Nice Program Just Beware of the Tuner

Overall, it is a good program that puts a lot of resources (Chords, Scales, etc) at your fingertips. However, I was never able to get the tuner to work reliably.

Best resource for scales and everything else

This app makes it super easy to find and look up scales, arpeggios and much more. No more google-ing and waisting time to find what you’re looking for. This app made me much more efficient and helped focus on actually practicing!
