Good approximation of the Spades card game. I find it much more satisfying to play than Microsoft Spades.

Good game AI partners not so smart though they cut you and don’t protect nil

I’ve tried a few other Spade games and the IAs were so bad at playing you could not really enjoy the game. With Hardwood the IAs make smart plays like an experienced real player would. The graphics and play mechanics are first rate as well. If you want a spades game this is it.

I used to play this game when I was little on my desktop computer when I had brain cancer at 8 years old and to find it now 20 years later it made me sooo happy. I absolutely love the game
