It sends way too many alerts when I only have breaking news selected

Coverage of local events is pretty good, but the writing tends to be poor. For example: "HNN was there when deputy sheriffs knocked on the home on Nawiliwili Street and confirmed it was vacant and safe to return to Will Choy...."

Hawaii News Now only seems to report Oahu incidences and weather. Rarely do they ever give us other Islands’ weather or incidences. Not worth watching/reading if you live on another Island other than Oahu

My notifications are set for Breaking News only, but I keep getting all of the ridiculous ones about whatever someone decides is the top story for every hour. I don’t want anyone or need to be notified about the new robot at the library or whatever someone has decided is the top story of the half hour.

Why is there breaking news that we get notified for but when you click on it, there’s no story on the app?

Need to update the livestream it keep crashing within 5 on the app and the website

Way too many ads and links makes it difficult to navigate

Absolutely the best in Hawaii nei!

This app really needs to be named Hawaii Ads Now. So many ads. More ads than any of the other news apps I have installed. Ridiculous.

I can’t seem to find a place to contact you folks. And when scrolling down and I click on a previous news article it is hard to navigate that article cuz it swipes left and right and all ways.

Appears jumbled, too busy, confusing with all the different boxed sections and adds.

Only use for local severe weather reporting. Don’t use if you actually want an unbiased news report.

Notifications Still An Issue. It’s been YEARS and they still haven’t fixed their notifications issue. A notification banner will pop up in your phone but when you press it to open on the app to read more, it DOESN'T direct you to the article. The only reason the app is being downloaded yet it still hasn’t been fixed. It’s the only reason I deleted it.

The app sends me notifications on articles but when I click on it an ad pops up and I can never find the article it mentioned. I’m close to deleting the app as a nuisance. It seems they’re more interested in me seeing ads than the news I’m interested in.

I wanted to donate to the Maui wildlife “LAHAINA RISE” project but the HNN website either lacks a link to the charity or the link is hidden somewhere that is hard to find. Not Pono.
