Only worked and showed values 1 of 8 times I tried to use it. In a place with a strong signal but I just got the wheel of death 7/8 times.

This has been my go-to app for heat index/wet bulb temps — straight-forward, simple graphics, etc. But all of a sudden it “attempts” to retrieve the info but fails to provide it. I’ve done nothing different, it — just — stopped — working. Major bummer.

Nothing extraordinary, but it works as intended. I just wish there were less paywalled features.

I use this app to get the WBGT before I exercise outside, or when I’m spot checking the cooling capacity of a cooling tower

Upgrading my 2-star review to 4 stars because the latest version fixed a crash problem and also the place search. It now works well to indicate heat risk where you are or elsewhere in the US (only). Upgrade to ad-free was worth it for me.

Last summer I went to hospital emergency for two days after suffering Heat Stroke. The Heat Safety app gives me current weather conditions to help me to avoid another Heat Stroke.

I’ve been using this app now for a couple of months. So far the app hasn’t crashed on me and it has worked well. This app helps me understand what the heat index is going to be. I need that information to help employees stay safe.

App works perfect after latest update! Does exactly what I need it to! Goes off of long/lat. excellent app!

Revised review: the app is really useful and easy. There was an outage for a day or two with the weather service but that has been remedied and is working now. Developer was very responsive.
