Classic Hexxagon !

If you like the original pc Hexxagon you will like this game. The AI, controls and sound are great!

Good

Good fun game. It's better to play vs. Human because that way it's not as hard. (depending on who you are playing against) it's also always random Vs. Human player. But playing against the computer it is almost impossible to win.

Nice, but...

I wish there was an option to turn the sound off or to be able to listen to music OVER the sound. There doesn't seem to be any settings or options---would be even better if there were.

Fix the glitch in expert

Great game, very challenging in the expert level, even more so when the computer decides to cheat. I've seen the computer change one of my pieces to one of its in certain situations when there are only 2 open slots. Please fix!! Otherwise 5 stars. Reason for slow gameplay people are complaining about is so you have time to change your pick if you accidentally picked the wrong spot.

hexawesome!!!!!

niiiiiiceee! a little slow to respond but who cares. what's the rush? people are always rushing around. people need to relax, it's like my dad always says "slow down and chew your food, you'll choke, you idiot." it's like that but without the food.

Pretty Good

I think this is very faithful to the original, and better in that the piece conversion effects match their respective pieces (i.e. the green pieces emit green lightning and the blue pieces emit blue lasers while in the original, the red pieces shot out blue fluid and the blue pieces shot out red lightning and I assume that that was a programming oversight.)

Great strategy game

I used to love this game on my PC. Now I can enjoy it on my ipod.

Fun game but doesn't respect volume settings.

There's no way to mute the sound or change the volume. That's poor design. Otherwise a fun port of the original game.

Buggy and Slow

I loved the original Hexxagon, but this version is very laggy and the graphics are pretty bad. The graphics looked smoother on my old DOS PC over 20 years ago. It needs work.

It’s ok but...

Sound fox isn’t as catchy as dos version and you can’t change your pieces design

Bugs in the endgame ruin it.

I love Hexxagon, and have played it since the first DOS release. This is a somewhat faithful recreation of the original title, though the lack of the Edit Board option is vexing. What truly sinks this game, however, is the bug that surfaces in the endgame on Expert. After almost the entire board has been completed, the computer will begin to move pieces that you have just captured as though they still belonged to it, making it impossible to complete a game. This desperately needs to be fixed
