10 Positive User Reviews for High Tide

Pleased with it so far

The app works well, is intuitive and seems to provide all the necessary data.

Tide times

AP would be easier to use if daily high and low times were given.

Gets it done

I’m not a sophisticated sea farer. The app gets me accurate tide so I can plan my beach and kayaking activities.

Useful data, clear presentation display and user interface

This is far more useful and easy to use than the other apps I have tried. I have put it on my Home Screen right next to Weather.

6 Negative User Reviews for High Tide

Not great

Tide table is 20% of screen and map is 80% so misnamed. Also Y axis scale is so large there is little deflection graphically between high and low tides.

Lacking

800 tide stations a lot, but it’s not, in fact it is not very many at all when compared to other apps that I have used in the past. If you live in a port you will be fine, otherwise you have to use a station 15 miles away. How about Harpswell Maine for a suggestion for inclusion.

Poor poor navigation

There’s a tide station less than a qtr mile south of me: Estero bay, hogue channel, Bonita Springs,34134. It is not shown on your maps (2) I do not see a way to select a tide station, (3) I am unable to scroll what map is shown me. (4) map is not identified.

Not enough detail

I just downloaded this app, and the charts are marginally helpful, but there doesn’t seems to be a way to display the actual times & levels of the high & low tides, you have to interpret it from a chart with only a couple generic times listed within a 24 hr period. If there was a way to zoom in on the chart that would display more info, or a slider bar that would display times and tide levels it would be more useful.
