Hole19: Golf GPS Range Finder App Reviews

Takes a bit to get used to but once you do it awesome and a great way to keep your mind on the golf not the strokes played. Not trying to keep count makes me play as if I’m 2 under until I fi ish the hole.

The only thing keeping me from rating this app a 5 is the fact that I cannot choose the yellow tees- for a senior golfer. So tracking shots is fairly useless. It’s showing all my tee shots as being from the blues…. Otherwise really enjoy using the app. Accurate distances and keeping score. Just what I was looking for.

Easy to use and very.

Even though it tracks from your phones location (great for walkers) the yardage is as good as any purchasable version.

I believe this is the best app on the market. If you just want to keep score and get yardage and track shots it’s flawless on the watch and on the phone. I am an app junkie and have used most golf apps and always come back to this.

Easy to keep up with. Enjoying it

Pretty accurate. With the last update though, it seems to change holes on me while I am playing. Have to scroll back to the correct hole.

Every time I’ve used this app I’ve really enjoyed it, but my problem with it is that I get a ton of emails from the app trying to sell me in stuff like new clubs. Otherwise amazing app.

I’ve had the paid app for years and have been able to use just Bluetooth connection from my Apple Watch to my iPhone, the default disabling cellular GPS from my watch. If my watch uses cellular while using Hole 19, it kills my watch battery. I golfed today and there was no option that I could see to use just the phones gps. My watch barely lasted the round before dying. Is this part of an update?

Great app works very good on the Apple Watch, distances are very accurate. Course graphics are great. The track shot function is not very user-friendly and I can’t find any videos or instructions on how to use it. If you’re not looking to track shots, this app is great. I would love if they add the automatic track sensor on the Apple Watch like some of the other services have. I loved the app so much using the free version over the summer that I purchased the premium version for Black Friday. Well for some reason the email didn’t come through and even though they’ve confirmed my purchase getting someone to send the correct instructions has proved very difficult up until this point. Disappointed, but hopefully they make things right.

Fantastic app

I use an iPhone 13 and have run Hole19 Premium for well over a year with zero issues. It’s been a great tool for me on the course. However, the latest update has caused the screen to randomly lock up. It will eventually let me open up the app and then my watch lets me input scores. Then when I finish the round and attempt to close the app on the iPhone it locks up again. It easy to use and very accurate on the two courses I play. It would be nice if it could post to GHIN at the end of a round.

I have tried many golf App but Hole19 it is by far the best free App. I have it linked to my Apple Watch where I can see the Front, Center and Middle distance. I just grab my phone from time to time to input my score, fairways hit, number of putts….its awesome how it keeps my stats. Once month I receive an email showing my progress. Absolutely great and free.

I’ve used Hole19 for two years now and have been very satisfied with it. But after the recent update, the yardages are off by as much as 10 to 15 yards. this is confirmed by my laser rangefinder. Almost to the point of giving up with it.

I find this app difficult to read and navigate especially in the sun. The fonts and icons are too small. Most golfers don’t wear their glasses when playing so having an option to make things bigger.

Won’t stay on the current hole.

Adding score is clunky. Not as much information as other apps. Unnecessary info.
