This is the best keyboard to support polytonic Greek that I have found. Love the layout. Entering diacritics is a breeze. Thank you so much!
I shouldn't comlplain because this is both excellent and free. But I can't use it when I need to be silent: even though I have Keyboard Clicks turned off in iOS prefs and my iPad volume set to off, Hoplite keyboard produces a click sound at every touch. Please make it possible to turn this sound off. I would gladly pay for that. Otherwise, Thank You!
This keyboard works well, is easy to type diacritics, and doesn’t take up too much screen real estate. The only thing I found that it’s missing is a semicolon key so I can properly mark questions in Koine.
I loved this app. It makes typing ancient greek much easier. However, the letter σ doesn't always change when it is at the end of a word. It works sometimes but most of the time it remains σ. Will you please fix this bug asap? Greatly appreciated!
Please fix these errors: Ῑ̓́ ᾱ́ ῡ̓ Ᾱ̓̀ Ῡ̓ The macron is great when used alone, but if you add an accent, it moves to the side.
Please keep this updated. Thank you!
I like the keyboard design and layout, and was getting used to typing the diacritics after the letter (different from my phone’s Greek keyboard), but some keys do not respond even when they look like you’ve pressed them. So if you press the alpha, the key will change color to look as if it registered, but the letter won’t show up. Very frustrating when you’re using Quizlet for vocab and it keeps marking you wrong because a letter is missing! Please please fix this, there’s really no other keyboa
Would be brilliant if the keyboard name can be shortened. On my iPhone, this keyboard causes the language selection menu to fill ip the whole screen.
This is exactly what I need to make flash cards. It would be great if the problem with σ at the end of a word could be corrected. In an app like OneNote it changes, but in an app like this review (or my flash card app) λεγοσ it does not change the ending σ.
I love this keyboard tool. My only complaint is that sometimes I have to hit a key more than once to make the corresponding character appear on the screen. But to be able to actually type in Ancient Greek without using a special font, this is a very minor concern. εὐχαριστέω πολύ
I’m learning Koine Greek and this keyboard has been awesome for typing out vocabulary and practice on my phone. Great work!
