Hydra for Reddit App Reviews

Great layout that reminds me of Slide and Apollo. However, the app will randomly silence background music when no videos or gifs are playing in the window. This is a minor annoyance but would’ve really cool if it’s eventually resolved.

I’ve used this app on and off for a year or so now. It has a lot of similarities to Apollo. I’m sure the creator will tire of hearing it being compared to Apollo but the usability is very similar and that’s what people want. Great app!

Looking to fill the void that Apollo left? This app is worth at least a shot! Looking forward to seeing how this app develops! And hoping it stays working for years to come.

I miss apollo but like this app. besides wanting more icons, no notes atm.

One suggestion, embrace liquid glass more. Stylizing is a little inconsistent

no ads. works great looks great.

Devs are doing a great job. I'm sure it isn't glamorous being the "next best apollo", but there is a foundation here that could really make it better than the original. Really happy to have tried it.

Has some minor issues, which should be expected from a developing app - still much better than enduring the "official" app shoving ads in your face every 5 seconds. Works for browsing just fine, but posting definitely needs work.

App is good but the Picture in Picture feature stopped working. Please add it back

After Apollo shutdown I was sideloading it for awhile but ended up using Hydra now as it does pretty much the same thing with no issues so far.

Can’t post or comment — also not able to see nsfw content or search for it

Two of my favorite features: no Reddit ads, and external sites can open automatically in reader mode. This app is a game changer for Reddit fans!

App would be decent if it didn’t lock most things users actually want behind a paywall. No access to any NSFW subs without premium? Lame-o.
