I love this game a lot, it’s interesting and very puzzling. the problem is that every once and a while the character (at least Ellen) gets stuck in place and you have to restart the game. I’ve had to restart it 4 times and it’s very annoying. Especially because I get far in some play throughs.

One of the best games ever made. Controls were easy to use and game was quick+fun (if you know what you’re doing). Buy this is you want to spend the best 5$ ever.

I listened to the BBC radio drama and really enjoyed it, decided to get the game. It’s good and emulated really well, easy to understand the controls and whatnot too.

I got this game a while ago, and I absolutely love it! The problem is, after a few weeks of not playing, the sound disappeared? Ive uninstalled and reinstalled a few times and checked my settings but it wont come back. All I want to hear is AM’s sultry voice. Overall, the game’s awesome, the sound thing is the only problem. But, if you don’t mind silence when playing, it’s definitely worth it.

awesome game, i do get soft locked occasionally but it’s usually not a problem as i can fix it pretty easily. 100% worth the money!!

DISCLAIMER: I didn’t play the original DOS version. Story, narrative, artwork, VO: all stellar. The UX in the new controls leave a lot to be desired. Hitting “skip” during dialog will skip an entire conversation, not just the segment of text onscreen. When my PC version of this game was no longer compatible with my computer I was heartbroken. Imagine my surprise to find it alive and well and living on the App Store! Thank you to all those beautiful nerds who refused to let it die.

Fun old school game with an intriguing story and atmosphere. Some challenging puzzles with an in game hint system (seems like you’re mildly penalized for using it). Biggest issue I’ve found is some game breaking bugs in 1 of the scenarios (I think you can actually start over by drinking some punch but still could use a fix.) also make sure to keep multiple saves and save when your character isn’t doing anything to minimize risk of a bad save. I was scared to purchase this, truthfully— I hate buying things on the App Store and the reviews about interface problems + loading issues made me incredibly hesitant, but IHNMaIMS is one of my favorite short stories of all time.
