Not fully understanding the app , does the user in other end that has hacked my phone see the message ?

Peace of Mind

This app is exactly what I needed! My phone was hacked into by someone I know, he was able to turn my phone on and off remotely, view everything I was doing, etc. I did a factory reset but was so worried that he still had access. This has given me peace of mind that the factory reset worked and he no longer has access to my device.
