Incredible how the app works without signal, one can find all the things even out on point 3.

This year’s version was a great improvement from last year’s. The GPS map is the most useful thing when you get turned around or lost. The up to date event listings and search are so super useful and work so much better than last year. Thank you for doing this.

The iBurn app is a great way to find out when and where to go at BM. It is also an important safety feature. In a dust storm, the location tracker is essential. Loved it. To rely on your phone, bring plenty of power banks.

So well put together and endlessly helpful. While the majority of the fun at my first burn was wandering and exploring, this app was so helpful in finding nearby spots to check out and finding my way back to camp at night! Cheers to the developers

I got completely turned around in the dust storms and tried to find my way back to Deathguild. I found myself walking my bike in a direction that my companion questioned. Quick thinking I pulled out my solar charged cellular device and found that indeed I was apparently heading towards 1130 and deep playa. Thankful to this handy software for helping me not strand myself at the trash fence!

I used iBurn throughout Burning Man, and it was absolutely indispensable! The app made navigating the event so much easier and more enjoyable. Without it, I would have had a much harder time getting around. A must-have for any Burner!

This app is amazing and anyone who is picky about it wasn’t there the year the Man spun around and made everyone so disoriented I personally gave up and just hugged the Esplanade all week. Was that 2008? Anyway thank you so much for this freaking awesome app, even if it means having to use my phone out there 🫠

Make this part of your next Burning Man pre-flight checklist!

On burn night with the chaos of the art car circle, it’s almost impossible to find my bike, so I learned to park it close/near an art installation over the years, then find my way back to it. I had no idea this app was going to actually work in the deep playa, it saved me A TON of time and I was able to see/find and identify so much more art because of it. So THANKS YOU SO MUCH! It’s perfect being able to navigate around the city when all the signs are down and scheduled activities. Well done.

Perfect for deep playa roaming particularly when the landmarks can’t be seen, white out, post burn or just your mind can’t recognize things! Lol! Also great for wandering the city with pinpoint accuracy if needed. I didn’t use the other features such as camps etc., but yea this is good!

Super helpful can’t wait for next vertion

A most have during your burner stay! Once its downloaded it works within Black Rock City without internet connectivity (even in airplane mode that saves phone charge). An interactive map (your camp location can be saved), a list of art displays and camps with their descriptions and coordinates, a list of daily events with locations & time… do I have to say more? A really well developed app that would enhance your Burning Man experience.

If I hadn’t had this app I would have had a very hard time finding my way back to camp on several occasions, and I usually have great orientation. You need the app especially if it's your first burn.

Great app on the playa- used it a lot not only looking up what was near but helping the vast amount of Burners who came to our camp asking for directions l. One suggestion is to add a ‘I’ve seen it checked off’ area for the list Playa art. Be great to see if I could make it out to all of them! Lucky Penny

Thanks so much for creating this app so that we can be much more informed while on the playa. I am not sure why but my app never knew where I was while my partners worked perfectly. We both have the iPhone 13 pro.

You will likely not have connectivity on the playa unless you own/rent a satellite phone. The Playa is bigger than you think. This app WORKS on the playa (without internet connection) and is excellent for both helping you navigate, providing location info, listing current events (more dynamic than the White Pages). I have found this app invaluable for BRC.

This was amazing to have and so helpful. The map was especially helpful when I needed to find bathrooms. Also, for when street signs were removed and as a first time burner, it was very easy to get lost. Thank you for making my burn more enjoyable. I’m utterly grateful and I look forward to the new version this year. See you in the dust
