iCab Mobile (Web Browser) App Reviews

I’ve used this app for years and I like it a lot but I get sick of tabs reloading when you open a different then go back. Sometimes you end up with several tabs trying to reload at once which really slows it down. I can’t figure out how to turn that off or if it’s even possible

Please make this browser app backward compatible for my old iPad, a perfectly capable device destined for electronic environmental waste due to obsolescence. Such a shame.

When safari fails to load a web page, I use iCabMobile. I use it on a regular basis. It is the only iOS browser that never fails.

Icab Mobile is almost too good. It is so much better than any other IOS browser it's just ridiculous. The developer is extraordinary responsive about fixing bugs and adding features. This is the most important app on my Ipad, and I can't say enough good things about it. Definitely get this app.

This is the most desktop feeling web browser on the appstore app, it has almost everything I could hope for. If only it could support custom css, that’d be great, I really want to use Return Youtube Dislikes.

Default setup works well; complex tailoring available. Epic bookmarking. Quick iCloud sync. Superb support—worth “extra generous tip”. Use tracking filters WITH CARE! Take it for a spin. (I hope someday Spple allows change of “default browser”.”)

Stable and so many config options. Closest thing to a desktop browser you can get for iPhone and iPad. Having different user profiles is a huge plus.

Hi, your app is great! But it keeps removing all the filters I’ve installed and then I have to go back and manually re-install them. How do I get it to stop doing this? Only happens on phone, on ipad it doesn’t seem to be an issue. Thanks!

Highly tailorable; contextual toolbars. Epic bookmarking. Superb support—well worth the “extra generous tip”. Takes learning: take your time, don’t expect to set all Preferences in one fell swoop. Use iCloud to juggle settings between devices. Some sites require emulation (or even use) of a different browser. Password manager may limp. Use tracking filters WITH CARE! This is undeniably a superb browser, built with great expertise, worthy of your trying!

King of browsers on ipad

For the life of me I cannot get the bookmarks from my desktop to sync with the mobile version. Mobile version works fine but I have to manually enter every URL. Possible to make an import bookmarks for “dummies” video on your You Tube channel? I have tried iCloud sync and trying to manually import but can get neither option to work.

Worth having and setting up, even if you never use it.
