iDoceo - Planner and gradebook App Reviews

I love iDoceo. It organizes my grade book SO easily and I can use my template across other classes (so I don’t have to start over for every class). I highly recommend!

Since using iDoceo, I have not been happier. The ease of entering grades while circulating my classroom (because I have it on my ipad), as well as the ability to sync grades across devices (I have it ipad, iphone and macbook) is a much welcomed bonus.

This app is so powerful. I haven't tapped in to all it can do with it, but it is the best $9.99 I've ever spent on my teaching. Don't think, just buy it! You won't regret it.

I love this app! It is indispensable for my teaching — and it’s completely free, which is a dream come true. However, it’s so cluttered that it makes it hard to read and navigate on my phone. Please consider overhauling the design and making it more minimal/simplistic. Thanks for everything you do!

I have been teaching for twenty years and using electronic gradebooks for most of that time. If you just want simple and straight forward gradekeeping and attendance, it does all of that easily and intuitively. If you have more complex needs (rubrics, complex calculations, icon based calculations, behavior tracking) it can do that with some tweaking, and then it runs just as smooth. We use this primarily for taking attendance and tracking notes, reports, and other student details at our three different locations. The ability to sync across different devices is wonderful! One of the things I would love to see supported is the ability to freeze a folder category. Similarly, it would be very helpful to filter by students present on the latest attendance date (not just those present today); I do understand that I could filter by column, but that doesn’t filter out absences. As a teacher, There are only a handful of apps I constantly have used over the years. iDoceo is one of them! Grading and seating charts are a constant in my life. And since iDoceo I no longer struggle.

I teach at an alternative school with about 50-75 students. I use the gradebook for individual classes. In addition to my teaching classes, I created a "master" class with the entire student body. I use that "class" to keep track of the daily attendance register and as a student iinformation database. It is easy to copy the students' information from one class to another. Very versitile with regular updates and improvements.

This is an amazingly robust and complete grade book solution. In an age of "online" tools and integration with learning management systems, it's nice to have an offline, standalone app for grading. But wait, there's more. Although this app works offline, it still integrates with Moodle and Google Classroom. As a verteran teacher that really misses EasyGrade Pro, this app fills that hole. In fact, it's better than EasyGrade Pro.

This app is fantastic. I just started using it recently and it has been easy to learn and makes teaching easier. I would like to view the photos of my students though, and there is no option for viewing their profile photos that I’ve saved. Will you please add the option to click on a student photo and view it? Thanks so much for this amazing app!

In the history of electronic gradebooks, this on is the most feature-rich and belongs in the Hall of Fame.

I was recommended this app by a colleague and wow! It has so many useful functions. It has been amazing at keeping me organized, as I have many students to account for. I work as a university instructor and it is extremely useful with to attach rubrics for grading classroom participation. I highly recommend this app - it does so much of the thinking for you so you can focus on instruction. This is a powerful and flexible classroom management app: I use the lesson planner, the attendance features, and the gradebook. It does have a bit of a learning curve to it, and I am still learning how to best utilize the features for my atypical school - but I really appreciate the the flexibility that allows this program to work even within my atypical school. I am in awe of the creator, who seems to work tirelessly to support users and improve the platform. ❤️

Despite a few great gradebooks, this on is the most feature-rich.

I love love love that it’s now on the phone, but I’m having issues with syncing. Every time I go from my computer to my phone I’m having to resync my files. Is this an error on my end maybe?

It has great options and modalities super easy to use. It’s intuitive and simple. Not 5 stars simply because a desktop mode that links with the app would be ideal.

Not good to take attendance

Just when I think I've discovered everything that iDoceo can do, it continues to surprise and impress me. The seating chart functionality alone is what first drew me in. After learning more, I've now learned to keep track of assessments, sync with Google Classroom, and create/manage my daily schedule with iDoceo. Thank you for creating such an amazing full featured app!

I have tried many electronic gravebooks, and some of them are quite good. But none exceeds what itis sero has. Every conceivable function is available. I love it. Just wish it also included the power law formula.

I can only say one word about this app: Unbelievable!

Some of the key stroke requirements or clicking requirements are difficult to deal with and take a little extra time during set up, but once in use it works great. Reduced three binders of info down to one app.
