Way too expensive

I have over 500 bonus coins but can no longer unlock episodes. That tells me either the episodes are ridiculously expensive or the app won’t let me use them and instead is trying to push me to purchase coins. If that is the case, why even have a check in option to get bonus coins? I am about to delete this app.
