Awesome - should be more popular!

This game is awesome and should be way more popular. Excellent gameplay, design and overall very polished

Needs iCloud save

I like the art direction of the game, the randomness of cards and strategy in every turn. Is a cool game to play while you listen a podcast, or just killing time. I don’t like there’s no support for iCloud saving game, so if you have an iPad and iPhone, there’s not cross saving your progress.

You can ROTATE tiles!!!

Am I the only one who didn’t realize this? The game was too difficult because the path tiles never matched up to my existing path, and extra frustrating because the tiles are displayed in a different orientation than they are placed. Turns out, you can TAP the tile to rotate it! This would’ve been great to tell me two years ago when I actually had free time, before having a baby. The game is very fun now that I know this, but alas I have no time to play anymore.

Ingenuity

This surpasses any other puzzle game I have encountered. Whenever, I used my first phone or IPad it is likely that I will choose this game over the many I have installed over the years.

Great design. Bad playability.

I really want to love this game, but unfortunately it is more of a game of chance than a game of strategy (which is the appeal of most tower defense games). After about 8 tries I can’t get past the first campaign level. Very frustrating to be stuck at the beginning when I just want to enjoy what appears to be a well designed game.

Very Well Made

I haven’t been able to put the phone down since I bought a few days ago, and I’m already enjoying the countless strategies to defend and overcome. Awesome job. 10/10

Been a fav for over a year

In the top three games I play most often. I sorta meditate and listen to podcasts while I zone out constructing a labyrinth of death. Still loose sometimes, usually win. Hope they create an #2

Great Brain Work Out

I used to do the morning crossword and all the New York Times puzzles to exercise my brain. But once I started playing Isle of Arrows I thankfully could replace my former morning habit with something that was a little more fun but equally useful for using my logic in puzzle solving. This is not an easy game on the harder levels and the more you play the better you are at. It’s highly recommended.

You broke my favorite card combo!

I have played Isle for several years and I absolutely love it. I probably play at least 3-4 hours a week. Highly recommend it. That said, y’all claim to have “fixed” an interaction where you can get infinite bridges/bombs/coins when some cards are randomly selected… it didn’t happen that often and I seriously want that interaction back. I’ve never seen the combo happen in a daily challenge, and that’s the only time I can see it being an issue. It’s nice to layout an entire map absolutely perfect

Great TD game

Played tons of tower defense games but this one has a twist. You get to place the board down in whatever patterns you can piece together from randomly generated tiles/towers. It can be a tad frustrating as RNG will force you to lose sometimes however when you get some good pieces and put a plan together it's very satisfying. Game is challenging and worth the purchase price.

I Adore This Game

This game has filled the hole in my heart left by the removal of FF Crystal Defenders from the App Store many years ago. Isle of Arrows is now one of my favorite games. Currently I only have one request, iCloud syncing. I just upgraded to a new iPhone & none of my progress carried over since i didn’t restore from a backup. I’ll happily play again, though some of these challenges are brutal. Thank You for this game. It’s beautifully designed & lovingly made.

Landscape on iPad

Found the setting in the app!

Fun game but too difficult for me to enjoy

Great game, great quality, but too difficult for me to enjoy.

Needs some tweaks

Great fun. Very addicting. But the love of the challenge quickly gives way to frustration with RNG. Needs more choice, less luck. Make it require more skill, not more praying.

Good

It’s a good game. Lots of fun. It distracts me when I’m not feeling well. I’m stuck on the Burning Embers Merchants and Pathfinders. No matter what I do I can’t seem to beat them.

Super fun!

The random nature of the tiles is fun. I wish there was an overall means of becoming more powerful across games, like a rogue-like element. Sometimes the RNG does feel a little too bad and it feels like the games where everything lines up are on the rarer end. My biggest complaint is that in Gauntlet Mode, there needs to be more visual contrast between the map and the background. Both are super dark and it makes things difficult to see without cranking the brightness up and draining your batter

A rare gem in the Tower Defense genre!

This game is amazing! It finds a good balance in being simplistic and challenging. I also appreciate how there are not any obnoxious in-app purchases or advertisements. This has been a very enjoyable game that doubles as a fun way to waste time. That being said, the RNG can be a little brutal and there's not much to do after you finish the main objectives. I hope the devs update the game with an endless sandbox mode of some sorts, but those are really my only complaints. 10/10 recommend this gam

Fantastic

Really great game, deserving of five stars for sure. I have noticed an issue, there seems to be a limit to how far the camera can scroll. I have, a few times, had a new track spawn in a spot that is outside this range, meaning I can only see a sliver of it and can’t actually build there. A fix for this and the game would be perfect!

Love this game. Frustratinly addictive

I love Tower Defense games but they can get a bit boring. Thankfyully with its clever mechanics and devilishly hard levels, this one doesn't I have a ton of feature requests (ability to undo tile placement & save 1 tile for later) the biggest request is please add landscape support!

Great game, gets 5th star with UNDO feature and more levels

Excellent gameplay, just needs an UNDO for the PLACE button because an entire level can go down the drain with a slight misclick or misread of ice trap vs fire trap

Amazing game

This game is really addictive, deep, well balanced, and polished. I can’t put it down. PLEASE put in an option to undo the last action / selection, as long as the next wave hasn’t been started. I have made many mistakes and realized as soon as I made them, but the action is already locked in. Hope you keep supporting this for a long time through dailies and new islands / modes. I will okay for a long time!

Free play!

Absolutely love the game! Not too easy but not to hard. Would absolutely love a free play mode where I can mess around with towers and power up cards!

Simply Puzzle Perfection

I highly recommend this game for fans of turn based, tower defense and strategy games. I applaud this developer with creating this awesome, highly additive gameplay. The right amount of challenge and phenomenal graphics to tie it all together. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for! Well done.

Simple to start

A lot of fun here that progresses with more elements added and more strategic decisions to make. In a calm and relatively peaceful environment that I can wrap my head around.

Needs more ability

The levels are moderatly difficult. We need the ability to target different enemies: first or strongest.

I really wanted to like it!

Love the art style and concept, but it just becomes an exercise in frustration. You will play dozens of game where 20 minutes in you will no longer get any cards that can help you build or defend. Disappointing that while you are barley hanging on, then the game spawns more paths, with nothing to defend with…. sigh….

Fabulous game

Kudos to the developer. It’s beautiful, fun, challenging yet relaxing game.

Wonderful!

I am a long time mobile gamer but hardly at all in the last few years (spending my gaming time using a Meta Quest these days). This is one of the rare mobile games to grab my extended attention for a while and I love it. While the random luck of the draw plays a big role in your success, good strategy and tactics can overcome bad draws. There is a ton of challenge and content here and I expect to keep playing for a long time (but perhaps not so obsessively). Also, this game is beautiful and

Challenging but Rewarding

This might be my favorite game released this year. It’s a very fun take on a typical tower defense game and is quite challenging, but not in an unfair way. At no point did I think the challenges were cheap or unnecessary. There’s lots of content to play and the daily challenges are always quite good. Overall a great game.

Excellent!

Ever since I got an iPad, I’ve been looking for a solid tower defense game for iOS. This is the first one that checks off all the boxes (challenging, attractive, well designed, etc). Very excited about it! For the devs: The cannons should be 4x4, since their range would definitely extend farther than arrow towers. That way, they could be placed behind arrow towers around corners. Otherwise you guys nailed it, congrats and thank you!

Grind and Gamble

Like someone else on here mentioned…it’s built like a pay to advance game so it’s addicting at first but once you realize you have to grind and gamble the game loses its initial magic. With limited customization options, like difficulty, it really narrows the potential user base and replayability. Definitely not worth the money because it’s made for microtransactions so gameplay is throttled. After so many years you would think someone would add some tweaks to add replayability and enjoyment but
