Works great on IOS

I have used this tool for years and it has served me well in going through high-level thinking to very specific action.

I must have bought this when it was first introduced and it never disappointed me on any of my devices. It’s simply indispensable.

From a power user/active scientist: You will find no better “Mind Mapping” software available - does it all and continues to get better! A true 5 star rating in every regard.

I purchased IThoughts in 2019 but didn't use it much before we went remote at work the next year. It's a useful tool for organizing complex or heavy pdf files. I use the export to word or ppt feature a lot. You con customize the look of mind maps. I recommend this app for iPad users over other apps with similar features. I also appreciate the "research" and search options.

Q1: Can engineers improve the exported PDF so that we can edit it in other software?

After all these years, iThoughts still seems to be the best mind mapping app for me. I looked at MindNode, for example, and, while their UX might be a little better, it’s just as cumbersome to work with big mind maps, but it also seems a lot less functional and that’s where iThoughts shines! As an example, iThoughts doesn’t support tags but IThoughts supports powerful queries that let you search for ‘#email’ in a note and I’ll take that efficiency every day of the week.

iThoughts is a very powerful mind mapping software, especially when used with the Logitech K380 keyboard. After inserting a picture in the theme, press the spacebar to quickly open, but there is no shortcut key to directly shrink the picture, I hope to add a function: press the spacebar to quickly reduce the picture.

I use iThoughts for my Dungeons and Dragons campaign. I can start with a bubble (an NPC, location, random encounter) and if I need to adapt on the fly, I can expand the bubble and see my notes. This helps me reduce the panic of creating something on the fly when there are multiple directions the session can go to. (Will the party go north? What if they enter the caves to the south?) This is a deceptively powerful app. Spend some time exploring how a "mind map" can be exported as a .opml file then opened in Pages, Word or Omni Outliner. This then can be used to produce a précis. The tasks function is also pretty great when exported through email. This app can be a powerful task management tool and or a writing tool. Highly recommended.

Very easy to use and helps to quickly organize thoughts for planning and presentations. I am a long time user of Mindjet Mind Manager program, but find iThoughts to be easier to use and formats maps. I also like the many export options. Well worth the purchase price! mm

I just love the Outline View that was incorporated into the newest update. I didn’t know I wanted this view until I saw how I could use it in my workflow. The developer continues to improve and update the app. If you swim in markdown and like to mind map, this is the only app you’ll ever need.

A well thought out snd feature filled app that cleanly and quickly helps capture the user's thoughts. Can be backed up to several different services. Been a user since 2012 and still happy.

I’ve been using iThoughts daily for over 5 years and am impressed with how it continues to be updated and improved. The new features released in iOS are always implemented in a way that makes sense and increases the value and power of iThoughts.

I have created hundreds of maps. In video conferences and meetings with clients they value seeing our shared thoughts and discussion being captured live, with simple, clear structure (and the fewest words possible). iThoughts is simply the best.

This is a great mind mapping app. Probably the best in the App Store. If it had a more alluring default style and maybe a bit of a UI refresh it would probably be even better. Keep up the good work!

The best IOS MM app and it’s great that there is a Windows PC version...BUT the only cloud storage iThoughts supports is Dropbox which I stopped using because Box is far superior.

I use the app on both iOS and the Mac. It’s indispensable to me in brainstorming and organizing my thoughts, plans, briefings, classes, projects, ...

I tried a handful of other, similar apps before iThoughts because of the lack of a free trial. Glad I took the risk, as this is the best of the lot.

This app is key in my workflow. I certainly appreciate the Find function, both in the current and other maps, but please reinstate the “Replace” function for the currently open map. Any text-based app requires a Find/Replace pair.

I’ve used now for a few months. Works great. No issues. Interoperability between iphone and iPad is vital to me and works fine. I’m shortly going to buy the PC version so that I can work on projects on desktop & laptop.

Why do the app constantly withdraw when using the ipados split screen function?

Use it on Mac, iPhone, iPad, PC with touchscreen. (Wish the PC touchscreen worked as well as the iOS version.)

Having tied a couple other apps, I find this one has the best and most intuitive UI. Plus iThoughts has a ton of feature.

Learned basic functions pretty quickly. Like the auto numbering option. Multiple ways to add comments.
