iToon Magic Trick App Reviews

I guess I didn’t read the review carefully enough, but I was looking for something that could be done without having to carry a deck of bicycle cards. This is not that. As far as I can tell, the only way to make the trick work is by pointing the camera at the back of a standard bicycle deck. That said, with Bikes it is a cute effect.

I love the versatility of this app. Playing cards, Sun signs, esp symbols, plus with the interactive mode, anything printed or written on a card. It is wonderful. The only change I would like to see is that the triple tap take it back to the lock screen and not the app start screen.

It’s cute, simple to use once you watch the video. It uses your deck to display an augmented reality stickman cartoon. You can use any card selected or force a card. Both options are great. I took 1 star away because you MUST use a red back standard bicycle back. I tried it with the Penguin Maiden Back and it will not work. I had to dig through my cards for red bicycle which I stopped using years ago.

I’ve gotten great reactions with this! People can’t stop talking about it. I had to create a routine based on my limited card skills but the star of the show is the stick figure and he delivers! Well thought out and very clever.

There are so many possibilities with this trick either alone or in combination with other effects. In my opinion better than the original. Designed so that the focus is on the deck and not the phone. Easy to learn and perform.
