We had entered our credit card number and data into the ItTaxi website while visiting Rome, for the convenience of easy payment using Rome City taxies while in Country. The card had a large fraudulent charge placed through the App halfway through our vacation. We had to freeze the card, then terminate the card number as a result. But it will give you screen after screen of pictures to see if you are a bot, so if you have hours to waste, I can highly recommend this app

I downloaded this app as this company seemed to have the most vehicles on the road. I had no problem summoning taxis and used it several times while in Rome. It is nowhere close to as refined as Uber’s app but you will save money vs using uber in most (but not all) instances. Biggest complaint is it did not give estimated costs between locations, at least that we could figure out. But through experience I would say we saved roughly 20-25% vs using Uber to call a car or taxi. It does give you l

We were skeptical of using this app when we first arrived in Rome due to its ratings but were recommended by one of our taxi drivers that we can schedule an early pick up time using this app. After we downloaded this app we were able to easily get taxis at whatever location when we needed it, like Uber but at a better price. Definitely recommend giving it a try. The old ratings that brought it down for a variety of issues seem to have been solved!

Used three times in Rome. The taxi came to the corner our apartment was on. Took us to the train station, Vatican and colesseum. You can pay by PayPal in the app. I’d use again!!

If you have your text size set large on your phone then lower the font size first. Pay attention to all the details and confirm them. But works fine. The app can use a little a tweaking tho.

App doesn’t allow you to book a ride for 5 or more

Booked a ride to the airport and set the requirements as English language speaking and pay by card. When we arrived at the airport the driver would not take my card and communication was challenging. We ended up having to make an atm withdrawal at the airport (yay more fees) and got the situation resolved, but my expectations were not met and my experience was poor. Why offer options if they will simply be disregarded? Do not recommend.

Have attempted to call taxis 4 times in Rome. Only found taxi one time - rest said no taxis found. Worthless. Just have to wait at taxi stand (usually long time) for a ride. When we used app once the drivers don’t want to take a credit card as payment. All say they only want cash.
