I found that the detailed suggestions that IVerify provides to secure your device do not always line up with the IOS settings menu they suggest.
Removes metadata from photos when some dedicated appps for this charge a fortune.
I’m not that important to be targeted “LOL”
Apps been pretty cool and informative for the most part. Almost been two years I’ve had it however, recently I am no longer able to remove metadata from pictures.
Excellent app and service, my only complaint is all premium upgrades are locked behind enterprise plans, and I'm just an individual. Please create a premium tier for consumers.
Amazing product, highly recommended! Easy to follow, easy to secure your data and privacy.
Piece of mind. Excellent app. More features than expected. However within the past several day the app started saying that my iPhone needs an update which upon checking it doesn’t, my iOS version is current. However besides that I highly recommend
I found the name of this App looking online for help dealing with a neighbor who’s a software engineer criminal hacker. So many of the directives have helped me deal with this ever expanding cyber world where our personal lives are at the mercy of some really evil people. Thanks for being of help.
This is a great app that walks you through a list of settings to help setup a more secure iphone. It’s a great app that explains why you should use those settings. It is getting a bit outdated but most settings aren’t far off from where they were. I’d give it a 4-5 Star if it was updated. I do recommend it to everyone and would love to see a list of recommendations for Safari Experimental Features.
I give it 5 stars because the intent is to keep our personal information and our belongings safe from cyber creeps. Unfortunately some get pleasure off scamming the innocent. IVerify, Cloudflare, and Trail of bits has helped me stay confident in having a safe environment for my family in a digital world
I have been getting harassed by an advanced cyber bully for months now and this app makes it impossible for him to target my IPhone. Seriously you get advanced threat defense like enterprise protection for price of a coffee.
I tell anyone who cares the slightest bit about security and privacy that they must use an iPhone and get this app. It’s terrific. One area it could be improved however: it would be great if it explained exactly why to upgrade iOS versions and what security improvements each release has incorporated.
Simple and affordable security app for your iPhone. While it’s hard to crack into an iPhone, it’s still possible, and these people will help you catch it if it happens. Definitely recommend the small payment for all the features it offers.
How is there not a single option to reset all the guides? If I reset my settings or if a software update causes a toggle to reset I have to go through what is already “marked as done”. It’s like the developer wants you to use the app only once. If I am missing the option to reset all guides then I will make changes to this review. Until then it really makes this app a Google search away from being replaced (a free alternative).
Some good initial instructions on how to secure my iPhone 13 pro. However, some instructions are outdated and work for previous versions of iOS, not 15.3, which I currently have. iVerify Trail of Bits, please update instructions to the most current version of iOS. Also, DNS does not work correctly in iOS version 15.3.

Does this thing actually do anything? I followed the guidelines and made the adjustments but really, does it do anything???
I've been using this app for just a little while. Today, March 10th, is the first time background activity has ever occurred. What's up with this?
This is a great app that walks you through settings up you Security. Some of the listed items I had already done but others I hadn’t thought of. The insight to why really stands out.
This application keeps me on track for keeping my device secure. It has been well worth the money.
Didn't notice on past versions but currently on iOS 15.1 and app version 29.0, and pics still had location and all metadata, the only difference was it converted from HEIF to JPEG..
I had a T-Mobile employee clone our phones and get our bank and personal info. Since iVerify. we have no issues.
It’s hard to trust anything after having your home network hacked in a ransomeware attack. This app is a very reasonably priced and the guides are very helpful and informative.
Unfortunately I don’t understand or know what many terms mean so I’m going on limited faith that I’m doing the right thing. Maybe there needs to be a Verify for dummies/boomers.
Amazingly good recommendations. Great interface.
Some of the stuff suggested (disabling Bluetooth) is overkill even for many of the people who use this app. Most people like using their airpods. The stuff that adds inconveniences should be kept in a higher category.
Good app, but it is often many days late when a new iOS system update is released. I am currently one version behind (and missing security patches), yet iVerify says I am up to date.
Some of the stuff suggested (keeping Bluetooth off) is overkill even for many people who use this app. Not everyone needs to take inconvenient precautions.
is there a way to block apps from injecting cookies into your device?
How can I uninstall this app? It cost $3 and then $16 a month after that. I’ll pay for this month but I can’t see this in my subscriptions on my phone. I like the app! I just don’t need it now.
So far this is such great info!!
It’s the best of the best I’ve seen.
Not at all clear how the app, once purchased, can be shared with family members.
I’m pretty savvy with my iPhone settings but I’m learning quite a bit more with this app. Easy to use, quick to the point explanations, and well designed.
So I received an email saying my info had been compromised via a data breach with iverify. Can you please explain why I was never informed about this directly from you? Rather, a well known data breach site? Thanks...
I do enjoy the top tier background checks against detection & malware! it’s super organized & walks you through it all much enjoyed!!!
This app is easy to use and understand and for $3 the price is right to know all the personal information on my phone is safe
Honestly this app is just a checklist of things you can do to keep safe. Most of the things i had already done way before this app came about. I wish i could get a refund. This app is how to keep your phone safe for dummies kind of thing.
It’s not just for novices and works as advertised
6 Negative User Reviews for IVerify Basic
Honestly this just feels like an advertisement for their edr/business version, which they wont even sell you if you’re not a business. I’ve been Systems Administrator for over 10 years and am facing a targeted cyber attack and they wouldn’t even bother responding to my email explaining what i was dealing with and asking for the price. There is some kind of active attack happening regarding bluetooth vulnerabilities that is affecting quite a few people i know. Look for the other app. it’s a small
I haven’t found the app’s “guides” to be that helpful, as many of those practices are promoted for free by other sources; some of the “guides” even appear outdated since the menu options are different (At time of writing, I have an iPhone 16, iOS 18.4.1). It also assumes that I have Google Maps on my phone, which I don’t. I guess I paid just for the ability to scan my phone, but unless it detects something, I practically paid for nothing.
I have been under the worst spyware type case for over 6 months, this app did just appear on my iphone and I honestly didnt think about it then while trying to backup my ipad (which was on a faraday bag i could not even for hours will cancell the connection to my laptop then I saw apparently this app which i didnt install was open and I found like a custom mail "6mmnm9mryj.com.trailofbits.iverify2.sys." then months after I loose access of my accounts my own phone started to act like it was self
Are they going to ever update this app
As the title said - The app lists very basic advice for security. It does not scan your phone and inform the user if they’ve been hacked. Which is a shame.
Didn’t tell me anything I know
