Fun but
Really neat! Love the layout and playing is fun. But, bugs out and needs a restart every few minutes
Fun but buggy
Some taps don’t respond while playing along. Also, crash and ride are indistinguishable, on drums. I just started playing around and within 5 minutes I noticed these two issues.
Fun to play with, could be more useful
I was hesitant to buy this app, but now that I did, I’m having lots of fun with it. One recommendation, allow each pattern to cycle through to the end before beginning a new pattern. Otherwise you get awkward breaks or silences in between patterns. Also, hoping to see more patterns as presets in the near future. And MIDI support.
More features requested
Please make compatible with apps like GarageBand & Cubasis to at least record our playing of your instruments as an audio unit or 3rd party instrument. -You can make it not allow us to record your actual loops, perhaps, because of copyright concerns. Thanks in advance and will increase my rating.
Cool, creative music app
The AudioKit team has released a great new app Jam with Jordan. It runs on iPhone and iPad and enables you to tap into grooves, samples and presets built by Jordan Rudess (and many others) to create your own unique songs. There are a ton of great built-in synth sounds for chords, lead and bass as well as drum patterns. You can play your own parts or use what others have already built. Background processes drain battery on iPad
I love the AudioKit apps, but this one has battery issues. Some background process drained my battery in about 24 hours while the iPad was idle. Uninstalling until fixed.
