KCTV5 First Warn 5 Weather App Reviews

Love you and we don’t live in kc metro. We live in Tipton MISSOURI and still get accurate weather alerts for our area!!

Please add the various weather cams showing views of the city to this app. The weather cams are on KCTV5.com but not in either of the KCTV5 apps. Also, the closer camera view of the KCTV5 Tower from Children’s Mercy would be a nice cam to add to the public list of cams.

Volume is bad …..needs to be louder

It works very well. I love watching the rain come. It is simple and straight forward.

This is hands down the easiest to use, most accessible weather App for the Kansas City area. I appreciate the accurate information, timely weather advisories, and simple interface.

I just want to commend you on your continuous coverage of the weather which is not being done on any other station. I really enjoy listening and watching as it unfolds . It’s so much better than watching all the crime and killings everyday. This is a new year and hopefully, a new beginning for KC. Onward and Upward👍♥️❄️🎄☃️cheers to Channel 5 - we love you!

Have had the app a few days, so far I like it. Like the layout, everything is easy to find and navigate to. Would GLADLY pay for an ad-free version.

I love this app. Whether it’s the middle or the night or I’m on the go outdoors; I can always access the weather the radar and any warnings to keep me and my family safe and informed. Thanks for putting this out for us to use channel5!

I can get accurate forecasts on my iPhone isolated just for where I live or where I plan to be at any given time. I can even check the weather where my family lives all around the Country. It’s amazing!!

The app is inconsistent. It gets into modes that I can’t understand. I can’t figure out how to get back to the normal function. It needs clearer links to access the different parts of the app.

Over all your weather updates are good but they’re not very timely. It’s 8 o’clock Monday morning and you’re still showing Sunday mornings forecast. I need to be more current.

Period. Just too many ads. Makes for a very cluttered app. Needs to be cleaned up!

The hourly forecast on this thing will tell you that there is a 90% chance of rain while the radar shows that the rain is 30 miles south. In other words, they’re only tracking location to generate ad data and make money, not to provide accurate weather information. (Which they don’t.)

I don’t want notifications about the weather being nice. I only care about severe weather. About to uninstall because these notifications are getting out of hand.
