All of the sudden I no longer get notifications, all of my setting have sound and vibrate on. I have to open the app and then I can see that I have a new message.

Bring back video chat and remove live from the Home Screen

Unable to use the arrow to go back to previous screen. The arrow isn't working or even "lit" to work.

Functionality seems fine, but no ad-free option makes the experience subpar.

Please add more features like the old bots to help meet new people and the meet new people option to meet new friends. I don’t wanna join groups

i like the app, i dont like the live option, every app doesn't need to go live. them fake spam robot accounts have to stop. i dont wanna delete this app. i hope that get fixed ; ive been using this app for years now.

I love this app I use it daily but now I can’t really do that without it being a hassle. Don’t get me wrong I love this app but when I send a message be it dm or gc it’s shown as s until I close the app and reopen it. I’ve reinstalled the app 3 times and the issue persists. I don’t know if this is only an issue for iPhone or what but it’s a bug that should be patched otherwise the app is unusable

Only major negative is losing all conversation history when you sign off and then sign back in.

You can’t scan a kik code from saved photos anymore what the heck?

At first it just wouldn’t open. So than it deleted itself and now I can’t download it. It literally just loads for eternity and won’t download.

I liked it better when you could use it as a phone or do video calls. I think it was the only app that you could video and phone anonymously with no record for people to get in your business. But it’s still a good app. For those that have other people that track every little thing that they do, and can’t have a moments privacy loved this app the way it was. But at least it’s still around for chat. It still adds some privacy instead of revealing all your activity as other apps do.

The app gets more glitchy every day. The app bans people for showing things like ankles and feet, but guys can have penis pics for their pfp? Be careful not to keep credits in your account for long, it has a tendency to disappear. It has a lot of potential, but the glitch nonsense needs to be fixed!

You can chat with some very interesting people on kik . Find others that share your interest, and make new friends along the way. Live chat is fun too.

I have a second life on kik. I have lots of friends i’m here and willing to have more

I’ve been using kik for years. 90% of the time it’s terrific, recently I’ve had issue with it sending and delivering the messages and notifications. Hopefully a new update comes out soon and all is good in the world again

I love this app but I hate the live video chat stuff it’s very annoying

Everytime I try to make a group the app says there is an error, it’s not only me it’s all the other people too

It’s really good to meet people on and message but it glitches a lot and freezes a bit and takes a long time to load, and sometimes it stays stuck on send

For god knows what reason I am only sometimes able to see new chats which is not convenient when I am wanting to talk to some one and can’t see the chat ugh

This does not give you the option to get rid of the live profiles. Miss hit a button and there they are!!! Plus hard to contact someone from customer service. Actually impossible.

Hey! Great app! However, recently I’ve been experiencing “freezing” causing me to lose all chats! HELP!

The app is good but recently when you click on a picture the whole app freezes & you have to restart the app all over again. Fix that and everything else is on point.

I believe it was after the iOS 15 update that this issue started

I’ve had to delete, then reinstall because it can be non responsive with certain ads.

It’s glitching way too much when playing videos from friends. Definitely needs an update.

Needs an update to help fix bugs when sharing videos

I’ve used kik on and off for years and the last 2-3 years but especially this year it’s been the jankiest and most broken down app. I have to constantly delete and redownload it which deletes all my chat log. It’s infuriating

App doesn’t always send messages or will send some and not others. Upgraded phone and now I don’t receive notification of messages

I absolutely love this app because it’s easy to use and understand. I connect to people all over the world, with such ease. I don’t like how the cameras watch you, that’s my only complaint. Thank you!

During the last update, something changed. There’s no way for me to get notified if someone contacts me. I have to go into the app to get my messages.

I put up with the ads but the “live banner” is too intrusive and too easily activated! Get the F rid of it! Everybody hates it!

I would give this 5 stars if they created a Face ID option to open the app. And have an option for how long to choose to delete the messages. Like, keep them for 24 hours, three days, a week, etc.

Very rarely get notifications of new texts. Very irritating!!

Even with notifications turned on both on the app and in my settings I never receive notifications and to add to that my messages only ever get delivered half the time I send them most of the time it takes hours before they’re delivered
