KOAA News 5 App Reviews

I used to get the Gazette and they kept raise the prices. I know they are a business so I just cancelled them. I still get news bites from them but when I open them, I can’t see anything unless I pay. I love the News 5 app. I get up to date information and it actually pops up in my phone as things are happening. News, weather, etc. I also feel a connection with their anchors and reporters since I try to watch them on TV when I can.

I have apps for all the major news stations in southern Colorado. KOAA updates their news stories as things happen in the community throughout the day. KOAA Puts out way more news stories than any of the other stations. KOAA covers way more topics and issues. Some days there is 4-5x more news stories on KOAA that the other stations.

One would think if a local news station was going to seek money from it's users (annually, at that), they'd at least do a little testing of their own to ensure they were buying into a stable platform. Plenty of other stations in town.

So much for a new News App! Just another app wanting $$. I like the app, but will never pay that much for a local news app. Rip off!

I think KOAA should make the commercials just a bit longer. It’s always fun to try to watch your short videos and have the same commercial each time for 11 seconds or longer. 😠😠

I downloaded the app because I wanted to keep up on LOCAL news and after having it for a while I have noticed that it’s set up exactly like one of the Denver channels and it most of the time I see more news from other parts of the country rather than Colorado Springs news. I’m switching to another local station app. Buh bye.
