KORG Gadget 3 App Reviews

I’ve been multitracking with Gadget years for and it still is always inspiring. Thanks Korg for adding the new drums in module that we can use in Gadget ,… They sound amazing, also I have a suggestion ,.. an audio vocal unit ( Similar to the Guitar and Bass Effects racks . Maybe with a noise gate and auto tune - Harmonizer-Would be an awesome new product to add as a new Gadget . Keep up the great attention to cutting edge Sound design ,…you guys are the best.

Please update with more modules that can compete with M1. And also, bring back the section where we can upload our songs into a library where we can listen to other Korg gadget users. With the addition of ps5 Korg gadget, i believe that will strengthen the community of gadgeteers

Gadget is an amazing app. I believe it would go further if the IOS app provided effects for individual samples in the drum sampler gadgets and possibly all gadgets. I wish I could incorporate individual or multiple fx in the drum pads. Also would be cool to see the Korg kaossilaor pro + and kp3 pro + turned into a gadget that had components of routing with other gadgets. Love the idea but mixing IAP instruments with the free library is insufferable. In AUM or other apps, KORG gadget shows every single instrument, paid or not, as an option to pick from in auv3. It’s just annoying to be presented with options I can’t even choose. Developers need to fix this. I understand you need to make money but there has to be a better way.

Only purchased this for the Santa Ana Guitar and then had to pay more for it. Disappointing.

Always on point and never a problem. Inspiring creativity on the daily. Best DAW and virtual instrumentation with full force MIDI collaboration. Worth every penny if they still made pennies.

I really love working in this app. The gadgets sound awesome, and it’s worth noting that graphically it’s also the best looking DAW on iOS. - Hoping that a gadget gets added that lets you load and play external AUv3 synths! - Also hoping AUv3 support gets added for Pompei, my favorite Gadget based on the polysix synth! - Please add pitch bend range control to all the gadgets- I really like to be able to set the pitch bend wheel to a full octave, but it’s only on some. Release MEMPHIS for iPHONE PLEASE

Two things make it not get 5 stars: iCloud samples loaded on kits, even when present with ”keep downloaded”, fail to load on Bilbao after you close the app. Same happens if samples are loaded through Audioshare. And no layered velocity / rr drum sampler like Osaka for custom drums.

This one is a musthave for anyone who likes to fiddle around with drummachine’s, synths and samplers. Easy to learn, and still allot of options, and extra downloadable gadgets but the gadet2 app comes with enough different machines to get you creating creating stuff. I also like the way the gadgets are designed, both graphics as different options they provide. In fact this my favorite DAW on the ipad, especially if you buy the Korg nanoKEY Studio and the Korg nanoKontroll Studio, 2 midi bluetoot

My favorite music app for many years, Gadget just needs clip launching to make it 5 stars.

It just needs a real sampler that can actually sample and manipulate samples. That would be a big difference from the path their on now with the new versions. A really good sampler adds to the app 10 fold. Abudabi ain’t it! Please!!!!!!!

Sure there are features I would like them to add, but when all I have is my iPad and I want to make music or learn some feature of sound design, Gadget still the most robust app I have.

I really love Gadget 2 but regular updates with incremental improvements would rate 5 stars 🙂

What a fun and extremely affordable application. You can start by just playing around with some modules for free, the drum ones are fantastic. If you find value in gadget 2 it's easy to incorporate a midi controller or sequencer and expand its usability. Gadget 2 gets updates and new sounds pretty frequently, that just as frequently go on sale. Only issue I have is I can't seem to send usb clock out of gadget 2; all other routing works fine (hope that's an update fix)

Wish it was AU3 Supported that would fill in the blanks that way I could use some of those classic drums in Cubasis….but hey, it not what the gear is, it’s how you use it….Peace

Amazing, simple to use. Have it on the switch, quest 2, and iOS. Easy transferring from switch to iOS, and delicious sound

I bought the I wave station a while back but there is no restore to it I’ve already paid for it don’t want to buy it again. Please is there any way to get it back thanks I’ve enjoyed the app it’s good I want leave nothing bad it’s one of the most clearest sounding app and fluid I use to have a korge x 3 so I know Korg. I’ve always loved playing with this App. It really does wonders for Electronic music. I only have 1 Idea that I think would be cool,… and make it even more awesome. It would be nice if you guys would create a gadget exclusively for running vocals through … think about it you could add sampling , a doubler effect , a built in noise gate. .. well it’s just an idea …send me the check if you use it ,..l.o.l.

As someone whose owned the new and old electribes and the Volca samplers etc, I Can say this swing is on this app is kinda weak It seems like it only affects the Metronome not the actual sequence itself, which is cool if your using a metronome but idk hopefully they give that a tune up. But overall the layout is amazing great synths and add ons and I can’t wait to see what else they do with this app

It’s still one of the best as far as IPad apps go but it’s getting stale, we haven’t had any new feature updates in over a year.

It’s still a great app but it seems nobody has any new ideas at Korg, no new features, no new Gadgets, just sounds from Module and for ppl who don’t have module or aren’t buying sound expansions for Module, Gadget has gotten pretty stale. If you guys can’t come up with any new ideas for Gadget how about porting some other Korg apps like Wavestate to the IPad or implementation of Auv3 to some of your other apps. Maybe it’s just time to hire some fresh blood?

Intuitive, powerful app. Great for picking it up and making music wherever you go. One thing that's come up recently though....I can't find the sound sample store within the app for the life of me. There one day and gone the next, doesn't detract from the app at all, but it's driving me crazy all the same.

I’ve been using it for almost 3 years, it is amazing all the things you can do, I only wish they would have more releases more soon, and that you could integrate synthesizers from the outside and use them here! Come on Korg, pretty sure you can do it

Gadget we need au host capabilities needs to become an Audio-unit host and or inter app or anything on the iPad including video . What are you waiting for Korg!? We need an update immediately! And host capabilities is at the top of the list . Oh and a “real “ percussion” gadget sampler “ that actually samples directly into itself using a microphone and an editing tool to chop them up in the iPad or an external device . Like an MPC within gadget.👽🙏

Pure fun, super cool, pretty easy to quickly make dope beats

It’s a little spaz sometimes and there’s still a couple things I can’t figure out, but this f-tard is a beast. You can put together some solid beats pretty quick.

Very enjoyable with Reasonable pricing on extra gadgets. (Having issues with tracks I transferred from Nintendo switch and changing the tempo. The number changes but the speed doesn’t)

I find I like a lot of the sounds on here more then some of the expensive VST’S on OS platform paying a fraction of the price. This is a high quality plugin!

Have loved this app for years over several iPads, but with the latest iPad (8th generation) this apps is constantly crashing and losing audio. Please fix!
