18 Positive User Reviews for Lanetalk Bowling
Great app
Like the way it helps me with my game. I just started bowling leagues 2 years ago started out a 120 average and seen my average steadily increasing to 130. Love the app. Just wish my center would get on board with the live scoring feature.
Needs fixed
I enjoy the content of this app when it works but it crashes/freezes on me a lot of the time. The app also was more fun when you did not have to pay for the subscription and could see your stats (and others that follow you or you follow them) without having to buy a subscription. At least you use to be able to see basic stats and information but now you have to pay to get access to any data.
Your programmers are weak at best
This app works when it wants to doesn’t work when it doesn’t want to. It’s like a damn federal employee.
Your pin counts.
With this app you see your game played out in front you. This allows you to go back later and see what you did on the lanes and learn from it.
Logging In
I like the app and all the records that it keeps that’s awesome. There’s been multiple bowlers having difficulty with logging into the app and confusion as to whether it’s a free app or whether you pay $24.99 full year. Bowlers have left the app because of the confusion.
I like it
It is a little bit buggy and could use some instructions on parts. Such as how to add balls to current games. The arsenal build was pretty easy. Also tags for conditions would be helpful. Maybe they are there and I just don’t know how to use them. Do a You Tube or something giving an overview and how to.
Helps me track spares I need to work on.
My game has slowly progressed. I’m bowling the best I ever had at 60 years of age.
Eh
The basic idea of tracking games automatically is great. The old report was better where you could compare different aspects of a series to different average levels. There should be more opportunities to leverage AI for data analytics and providing insights into strengths/weaknesses of your game.
Lanetalk app.
Works most of the time. Not yet worth the big dollars it takes to get all the pro level stuff. $40 with usbc membership or a whooping big $50 without usbc membership. WOW ! Maybe someday it will be worth the money and hype.
Useful tool for any bowler
I really like the app, just got set up and exploring through it, I just wish my league updated my complete winter league results, so now I will have to go in and manually punch in my scores to get my true numbers for my stats, that’s okay though.
I like the fact it shows you frame by frame and pin layout of what you bowled, picked up, and missed on frames.
Look forward to using more features on this app to track my progress and look forward to getting more out of it.
I’d like all the helpful information I get from this app
This app really helps me follow. My game helps me tweak a lot of my games from one to another very informative on how my game is evolving I recommend this for any out there from a beginner to a semi pro to even a professional this app truly does help your game and gives you a lot of insight
Love all the stats
I really enjoy the app for tracking. I’m a very average bowler but love to keep track of stats so this app is great. I do have the Pro version but it still only shows my stats for the last 30 games when it’s advertised for unlimited. Which there was an option to see them all in the app.
Must have for any bowler
Automatically connects to the lane and records scores, shows your weaknesses and strengths to help you advance to the next average tier. It goes further than scores, it also records pocket hits and your leaves. All you have to do is go to your alley and pick your lane and name after throwing once. The app told me my weaknesses were opens, spare shooting, and hitting 9+ pins and my strengths were strike rate and carry. My old bowling app had you punch in the scores manually and you can add in all
great app
Apps great, everything works amazing, but can you add my bowling center, its 3D bowl in island lake, IL, if you can, thanks
Great app
Love it so much
Doesn’t always track
Really love this app and all the stat tracking. The one issue I’ve seen is if you don’t start tracking your games from the first one. It will leave off a game once you start tracking
Really good app.
I love this app, it helps me keep track of my scores and averages. Though I find one problem with it. I went bowling the other day and put my name as a two-character name, when you try to add the games it says something along the lines of “3 or more characters” and I couldn’t put my scores in. I had to do them manually, and when you do that, they don’t show on the rankings. Aside from that, really great app.
1246 games and still bowling
