Indeed! I peruse 4 European newspapers online every day and Le Monde is at the top, in terms of French, European and world news, with a very balanced perspective. P.S.: It also keeps my “amateur French” alive and kicking!

Le Monde is my go-to app (along with The Guardian) for an alternative to North American news sources. Solid reporting on a diverse set of topics.

J’aime bien l’appli de Le Monde, mais il y a un truc qui me ne plaît pas complètement. L’appli envoit des notification très souvent, ce qu’est très bien, mais à mon avis il est nécessaire de metre « URGENT » avant des notifications des nouvelles urgentes. A ce moment il est difficile de différencer entre des nouvelles est des suggestion de lecture.

I subscribed to Le Monde as soon as it went online. Its articles are well-researched and much more profound than the Internet-grabbing headlines and shallow articles. This is something we need in these desperate times with Climate Change and War upon us.

I read a variety of newspapers and magazines. I still prefer to have a physical paper but the world is now online. Le Monde has done a great job with her app. Beyond that this really is as high-quality authentic investigative reporting as you can find. The articles are meticulously sourced and documented. I only read it in French so I don’t know even if there is a version of it available in English. If they were, it would certainly also be well worth reading

While Le Monde is politically aligned to the left concerning editorial opinion, it’s fairly moderate & most of the news articles are geared toward being factual as opposed to using the news to spin narratives. This makes it my top International news outlet, and it has an English language edition. The only problem being is the app doesn’t support the English language edition. Hopefully, that will be rectified so I don’t need to use a workaround bookmark on the Home Screen.

I always find time to peruse le Monde, always a pleasure, easy on the eye and on the mind, and primarily, broad coverage of international news — it is my go-to source when I want to know what is happening in the world, objectively, without bias, without patronizing.

This is a wonderful addition to my media sources and is easy to read even with my mediocre French. The updates are frequent and the coverage is balanced.

L’appli du Monde est d’une grande facilité d’utilisation et, bien sûr, elle est au service de l’un des meilleurs journaux du monde. Si les applis d’autres grands journaux étaient aussi performantes!

I am 13 years old and I think it’s very understandable for someone my age, and all of the “articles” are well written. I also like the diversity of the subjects so yeah great application.

Articles in the front page have very small typeset. Hard to read.

Excellent news coverage with a broader perspective than one is likely to get in the USA. Fascinating podcasts and videos as well.

I love Le Monde but the app could be better. It’s kinda glitchy. Also, there’s no way to save articles for later besides adding them to “favorites”

Le Monde gives me a clear view of the history, past or in progress and helps me understand it. I have read it since I was a teenager because I love its style.

Unlike our US media I can count on French and German newspapers to provide quality reporting about international issues..

If the sky is falling, or the world is coming to an end, let my last news articles be from Le Monde and my thoughts be in French. I will be calmer and happier 😊

One of the world’s.greatest newspapers. For those of us who live in the USA, a different point of view that allows one to better understand international news. Also, a great way to practice reading French while being informed.

L’application pour Le Monde est excellente. Facile à naviguer avec des articles bien choisis et bien catégorisés.

Not only Le Monde is the source of my international news but also what’s happening in the US.

They’re the most honesty and straightforward publication reporting on all world events. I trust them, I donate money, I’m thankful. A Guardian comes as a close second for anyone else interested in how to keep up to date.

I love receiving news from Le Monde. I pay for the premier service (édition abonnés) without reservation. I do wish I had time to read more articles and get the most out if it, but it's still worth it.

Real news and analysis. The world goes beyond DC, the US and the Bronx!

Quand je tape sur une notification j'arrive à la page de la une au lieu d'ouvrir l'article en question. L'abonnement est aussi assez cher je trouve.

Compared to other apps, Le Monde allows you to read 15 articles for free, then no more! Le Figaro is much more generous and I am sorry for that because I prefer the quality and the editorial thinking of Le Monde.

There is no other newspaper quite like it. And I can read it on my iPhone and iPad. What's not to like?

Undoubtedly one of the best newspapers in the world. Essential for African and South American reporting.

Great source for news. Quite often they report on events here in the US before it is reported on US news outlets. It is indispensable.

Make sure you can read French, but the app is a very good mobile version of Le Monde

If you can read French, this is a very good option to read news about what happens all around the world, especially Europe and Far Orient

Très pratique, pour trouver vite les sujets actualisés et les articles de quelques jours mais de fond.

Put back black font for the widget, white font on light grey makes it really hard to read!!!!
