Way better for learning Catalan on-the-go than Duolingo!

Great interface, great learning tools and has been 10x better than any other app I’ve tried to learn Greek.

I’ve used duolingo in the past and I prefer Mondly. For one I hate Duo the guilt tripping bird and Mondly feels more dynamic and challenging—like I’m actually learning from it.

This is the ONLY language app that teaches Bulgarian. Totally worth the Pro price! I do like the format for learning Bulgarian & French here. It’s different than other apps, but still very good.

Good coverage of practical topics and practice with listening, reading, writing and speaking.

This was advertised as being able to learn for free but the fact is you have to have a credit card to learn and only then can you use it with only the first week free.. I would give 5 stares if this was giving you what I had advertised but the app is great I wish I could use it longer but unfortunately I’m getting cut off in a day and that In turn will have me looking for a new app witch will keep me from giving 5 stars

If you are learning a different writing system, like Japanese or Arabic, you must learn the alphabet first. The app dives right in without any proper guidance and if you don’t have the basic knowledge this can be extremely frustrating, otherwise the app has great potential.

I used the app for a 9 months but quit using it about 3 months before I went to Rio. I am there now and was very pleasantly surprised that I could understand about 75% of what people were saying and could speak much better than I thought. The time I spend on the app stuck with me.

It’s okay I tried learning Chinese I never learned this much for free! It’s okay and amazing you should try I learned so much these past days.

I couldn't find a program to learn Bulgarian. I am so happy I found Mondly!

I was looking for a language app that would let me quickly refresh my language skills. I wanted an app designed for visual and read-write learning styles, with some auditory and kinesthetic features. Wow MONDLY has been a nice surprise with adaptive learning and gamification - I wish this existed when I was first learning a foreign language!

Explican bien y no son aburridas las lecciones

I was speaking back to the bot and it said I got the word wrong even though I said it correctly. Then it repeated what ‘I said’ and it was something totally different.

Mondly has been an excellent way to learn a language. I am learning Romanian through the app and the voice interactive portion has been a game changer. I tried Duolingo in the past, which is a good app, but personally I think Mondly is a more well-rounded way to learn a language.

I’m proud to be functionally illiterate in 5 languages and Mondly makes the quest for literacy fun and relaxing.

It’s so fun to learn this way it’s addictive.

The best part about this app is I can repeat word frequently, until I actually get them with Little pressure. That makes it easy to practice.

I love this app! It can teach you how to speak many types of languages!

Some phrases are too complicated - hard to remember.

Pretty good for learning the basics, but the voice recognition blows.

I’m already learning a lot! And it’s my second day for 15 mins each day I really recommend it! I also need to look back though I don’t memorize a lot of things but if u need to learn something or want to this really helps!it also has no adds u can use your voice or touch it doesn’t really care how old you are too but I do recommend have a nice one bye!

Generally helps me learn, but sometimes new vocabulary & phrases are introduced without any explanation or context.

This app has a really slick and well made UI/UX that walks you through an impressive array of vocab modules. Better than any I have tried, about even with Duolingo. If you are using it to learn Catalan like me then it might be the #1 option.

Hey i just want to bring to your attention, I’ve been on mondly for a months now…but for these past few days i go on and try to do a lesson it keeps asking me to give it ago multiple times like as if it’s not hearing me but i know that it is hearing me because it writes what i say. I tried closing the app to refresh it that didn’t work so i thought maybe my phone i restarted my phone and nothing, i also check if it needed an update. Could someone please fix that issue, it gets very annoying when

This app turns language learning into a game. It focuses upon phrases, not isolated words.

Actually a really cool app. I’ve been learning Russian and my favorite feature that’s been really hard to find everywhere else is the ability to click on a word and see the past, present and future cases for it. It really helps to get the premium version, but they do offer free trails and you can still do things everyday without paying. Not a deal breaker

This app really makes it easy to understand and quickly learn a new language. Certainly recommend to anyone with an interest in another language.

Duolingo is a great app, but I feel that I wasn’t learning anything at all. I can now have a little bit of a conversation with some of my Korean friends and not translate a lot. For 49 dollars a year to learn conversational stuff is worth it to me rather than spending 79 dollars a year.
